Looking at her hopeful eyes Jin didn't know what to say. It was true that she had lost everything and had nowhere to go but coming with him was also not an option especially now that Jin had plans for future and she being a normal human being would only be a burden.

" No .... U can't " Jin slowly said

Rin's face instantly dropped with a deep sense of loneliness but it quickly changed into a cheerful one after hearing Jin's next words.

" It's not that I don't want to help u .... just that u being a normal human would only be a burden to me..so- "

" I am not a normal human .... I also awakend powers...so pls let me come with u ..I promise I won't be a burden.." Rin hastily said cutting Jin midway

Jin was surprised to hear her words and looked at her strangly

Rin seeing the look ' if u have powers how could u get caught so easily? and why didn't u use it before? ' at Jin's face pouted

" It's not my fault u know!! I didn't had control over my body.. "

' cute' thought jin. As if to proof her words Rin's skin instantly transformed into shiny glass like a diamond. Jin looked at her with appreciating eyes while touching her hands.

" It really is diamond... Mangnificient!!!" Praised Jin approvingly

Seeing the look on Jin's face and hearing his praise about her power Rin was proud and also happy about it. This was the first time she truly felt blessed because of her power. Heasitating for a second she decided to talk about her second power.

" Umm..I also h-have telepathy "

Jin was again shocked. Afterall dual awakening is not a common thing, infact it's very rare to have two powers even if u consider the whole world. ' damn who would have thought I would get such a rear talent in this god forsaken place .... Just 1 hour with her and I was already shocked so many time.. well it seems lady luck is smiling on me... Another recruit with dual powers at that..hehe..' Jin thought while praising himself for his luck ( narcissist😑)

" Fine then... Let's go " Jin said and started walking towards the door.

Rin happily picked herself up and started following Jin.

" I am Jin. Jin dragneel ."

" Oh..I a-am R-Rin January.." rin haistily said.

" January huh!..it's a nice name " Jin said with a smile

" It is but I don't want to keep it " Rin said with a tinge of sadness

" Oh!.. then what do u want to keep ur surname as " Jin casually asked totally understanding her reason for name change

" Mm.. I haven't thought about it yet ...how about dragneel.." Rin said with a smirk

* Cough**cough*

Jin almost chocked in his own saliva hearing her words

" Pfft...hahaha I am just joking " Rin laughed seeing Jin's face. This was the first time she saw him loosing composure like that. ' looks cute when he is like that ' Rin thought looking at Jin's back with a smile.

' sigh.. I think I just brought a calamity to myself.. here goes my peaceful days ...' Jin lamanted his fate.

Both of them continued walking down while having little talks occasionally. They took the stairs as lift was not working due to power shortage.
