Nine Yang Sword Saint

Read this book on LNMTL some year(s) ago, and I relatively enjoyed it. The synopsis makes this book feel like a wish fulfillment novel, but the MC basically struggles throughout the entire book. Here are some things about this book if you want to get into it: *SPOILER ALERT* 1) This is a harem novel. If your not into harem, don't read. There is no NTR, so don't worry about the MC getting cucked (in fact, I think the MC is the one stealing ;P). By the end, while I forgot the exact number, I can guarantee he has more than 6 wives. They have a fleshed out personality so you will probably like some of them. And of course, there are *** scenes (kind of). 2) If you reading in anticipation for the MC and the girl in the synopsis to get together (his fiancee), then your in for a long ride. They don't "get together" until near the end of the novel, or past chapter 1000. If you don't like waiting that long, don't read. 3) The MC is a transmigrator from Earth, and as such, he has knowledge from the modern era. In the wars he will face, he will use that knowledge to create chemical bombs, missiles, viruses, etc. Yes, the fact that he is from Earth stays relevant. 4) This part might be wrong since I read it with MTL, but the cultivation is slightly different from other xianxia. Cultivators in this world aren't capable of flight so they rely on beasts to soar the skies, nor can they cultivate to immortality. Rather, the cultivation is like that of "warriors" in other novels. In the beginning, the advancement between cultivation realms starts off like 1 -> 2. Late game, this abruptly changes into something like 1 -> 1.1, so be prepared. And also, there are spaceships :P 5) The ending is pretty good. It details the future of the world and each individual character by the MC's side. You don't have to worry about this novel having a rushed / bad ending. 6) Super babies. There might be stuff I missed or got wrong, but I think this is enough. You will see the MC struggle in his path to supremacy with his pig slaughtering technique. You will love, hate, and pity some of the characters. While I liked the book, I can agree that this book is not for everyone. If you don't like any of the above points, then don't read. As this novel is over 1000 chapters, the translation will probably take 2 years if it is 2/day, or 3+ years if its 1/day, so your in for a lengthy wait if you want to read this novel to the very end. A rough start, where MC is a total idiot and the entire scenario/plotline is somewhat really toying around with him. It is recommended not for those who are easily annoyed of a slow progressing story that enduces so much hate on the first half. If you manage to get through the first half of the entire novel (not the current translated ones but raws as it is complete) then I clap my hand to you as you have persevered the enraging journey across mount tai.

This story is pretty good so far, in fact it seems like it might be a REALLY good story. It reminds me a lot of Coiling Dragon. But it’s a more rough I guess? A lot of cultivation novels are basically constant face smacking and womanizing MC’s. Coiling dragon had some faceslaps, but because it wasn’t forcing face slaps down us readers throats, among several other reasons, it’s a really good novel. This seems to be a kind of mix between the two, but it’s leaning more towards coiling dragon. I’m so tired of the Mc being called trash constantly for 10 chapters straight and then being called godly for 1 chapter or so, and cycle repeat. The city lord guy doesn’t immediately try to kill/torture MC because he accidentally touched his daughters boob, but investigates the situation. He also doesn’t immediately ridicule and call MC trash for not having a high cultivation at age 20. Which is a big thumbs up for me, it means characters in this novel probably won’t have the iq of a fucking coffee table with 0 foresight. All in all looking forward to it’s future.

read like 80 chapters and let met tell you it IS One of the worst novels(maybe the worst) that ever existed. No story just a tragic MC and his story how he loses every single **** he touches. like literally every single thing he touches have the worst endings possible. no cultivation flow just him working out **** to jump levels which is absurd and guess what that over confident son of a ***** just knows and accepts challenges that i will be this level by this day just becuz a certain day is going to come and i will use this particular **** and will become OP as **** only to go to new places and screw new people's lives.

Is no one going to realize someone has already been translating this on this very site? The one that's been here is over 100 chapters long already.

I just don’t like the way the novel is set up. Seems like mc gets everything without working for it. Otherwise, the story has no purpose. For example, leylin from Warlock of Magus World wanted to find the truth about everything and that was his purpose which made for an excellent read. As such, novels without purpose are dull.

At first I thought that I had finally found a normal Chinese novel, but the longer I read the worse it got. First, from the polite hero, they make the next destroyer of sects who immediately promises to kill not his opponent, but to cut out his entire sect. Then some time restrictions begin, which the author introduced just to add cheats to the main character. Well, how could I forget about stupid dialogues, where the main character says that “he had never seen such a cool mastery of the sword”, I’m wondering, but he has something to compare with? He is from our world and not from the world of martial arts. This review is up to Chapter 103. For any ******** fan of this novel, please just ignore/skip this review as it wouldn't suit your taste. The story was quite promising at the beginning that he got into the world. I did enjoy it. But things turned bad as new characters were gradually introduced. Firstly, the content was full of filler made by side characters with primal IQ that you would constantly wonder if they were homo sapients. The main character decision making was also repetitively bizarre and unrealistic. In many occasions, it would only make sense to me if these grown up men and women were substituted with middle school boys and girls. Their conflicts have similar level of significant and intelligence. It is not that I expected a perfectly rational characters. I do find making mistakes interesting and realistic. But repeating the stupidity is exclusive for idiots. The mc is becoming harder and harder for me to bear with. So I have decided to drop this.

Hi, so I've already read this in on the Chinese site a few years back, and I was pretty surprised by this story. overall, this is a story about a guys who gets transmigrated to another realm, when he spontaneously combust due to his Nine Yang bloodline. In this new realm he is trapped in a glacier with a powerful expert who was tricked by his enemies. This powerful expert teaches him cultivation, and due to appreciation of his talent (and because he is about to die soon), he betrothes his only daughter to the MC. The story progresses, and no surprise, the daughter doesn't want to marry and is pretty repulsive of the entire idea. The reason this story stands out is due to the unique setting of the world, (there are multiple realms who are just part of the same world), the fact that the MC doesn't just sail through everything due to plot armour, and the fact that MC actually makes use of his earthly knowledge in some situations. The ending is also pretty good (which is rare for a Chinese novel) and doesn't feel too rushed or forced. Also, the consequences of situation has a unique impact on the world, which I haven't seen before. Some caveats in this novel, are the somewhat 2D characters and romance targets, typical arrogant face smacking, and other typical Chinese Wuxia troves that you'll find in almost every other Chinese novel. If you get beyond this, you'll find that NYSS has a pretty unique setting and a fulfilling romance. Overall this is one of the more memorable story that I've read - so I'd definitely recommend this.

Summary: Basically **** plot, but the **** is terrible and the story makes negative sense. Also the author seems to want to make the readers as angry as possible. Don't waste your time reading this story. I imagine the author is a hormone filled angsty **** on crack based on how erratic the story proceeds, and the immensely crude rendition of any female characters. I have to commend the translator on the translation quality, but even they have given up on the story at chapter 125. I've read ahead, and I can totally relate: We read fiction for entertainment but this story is so far fetched it's infuriating. Every second paragraph is an completely unexpected twist that the m/c seemingly will never overcome but then the next, he will MIRACULOUSLY solve it. The worst part is 99% OF THIS COULD BE AVOIDED IF THE MC JUST DID THE LOGICAL ACTION AT THE TIME!!! So I'm dropping this novel, and for good riddance, I'd say...

The beginning is awesome, read all the way till he stays in the Sect, after that drop the novel completely and enjoy sweet dreams, if you continue reading, you'll wish to kill the author like I do. Never have I once tried to drop a novel till now. This **** is pure crap. Need at least 500 more Chapters before it MIGHT get good.

I really want this story but im so sad that this novel only have a 300+ chapter. . How long it takes for the continuation of this story? Did webnovel lack of narrator / author for this kind of readings ? However , i looking forward that one day this novel will have a great translator who can give it a good released of chapters and will be able to make it to the next level ... .😊😊😊
