156... Meilin's day out(27)

Just before going back, Meilin infiltrated the palace at night and according to a weird dream dug out something from under the rock... even Meilin was astounded by what she was doing and the repercussions if she was found out, but she had to do it to keep calm...

Well, all she had to do was push the rock with all her strength, what was under it was a small wooden tube, it wasn't anything mystical, it was just a simple broken piece of cane(?) which looked like a part of an old flute.... it was plain and old, but once Meilin held it, the ringing inside her that had started some time ago stopped.

Meilin was still a 'civil' person, stealing didn't sit well with her so, she took the piece to an antique shop once she got back, she would return whatever money it would make to the kingdom... but it seems it was just as plain as it looked, the shop keeper also gave her a weird look, it was a first for Meilin.
