Masculine Third Miss Strikes Back!

Taking a small, sharpened knife, she sliced through the middle of the stem, and as the knife was taken out, a bit of the sticky gold liquid stuck onto the knife.


Immediately placing the feather over the Caldron and squeezing the liquid out from the tip of the feather, she watched as the mixture sizzled, slowly turning blue. Specles of gold rose as the heat wasn't enough to melt nor mix in the golden liquid, so it instead split it up.


For now, it just looked like the stereotypical golden stars on a blue night sky, or perhaps it was the colour reflected by the endless, limitless and boundless ocean?


Xuanmei watched with curious eyes, before starting yet again to prepare her last ingredient for the Caldron.


Grabbing ahold of a mortar and pestle made of stone that she found in the pill refining section of her Pagoda, she placed the delicate feather inside, lifting the pestle and grinding the pheonix feather into powder.


Dusting it into the Caldron, Xuanmei watched as waters turned turbulent, red emerging and engulfing, acting like a blanket, surfacing and covering the blue, before it lost it's ferocity and calmed down, the residue remaining in the mixture as red glowing lights.


Grabbing the pot's handles, she used her free hand to grab a cup and scoop out a brimming bowl of mixture.


Pulling the pill mould over from the other side of the table, she grabbed a smaller sized ladle and scooped the mixture into the pill mould, placing on it's cover before letting it sit.


"Welcome back. Its been one day in the Pagoda, and it's now morning." Blue Pheonix reminded as the blue bird swooped down, sitting on Xuanmei's shoulder.


Xuanmei nodded as she went outside, looking at the plants that Blue Pheonix had planted that day. 


"It seems that the strawberries do not spoil or rotten. I hope the other plants are this way too."


"It'd probably be like that too. It's just the circulation of Mana, the main form of power until they split into elements, in the inner world is much better, and if their host discovers it, their inner world would flourish more."


"Thus, you are basically the best fertilizer for the plants in your inner world. Sigh, well done. Who knew you would actually start feeding all your plants one day..."


Xuanmei nodded in understanding as she reached for a strawberry, tossing one to Blue Pheonix as she walked around, waiting for the pill to set.


"After popping out the pill, eat it immediately. Effects will not show up quickly. The skill you will get might not be willing to show itself until you are in dire need of it or if you are in trouble."


"Understandable. How long will it take?"


"One day in the Pagoda. That means you can come back from the auction and then immediately consume the pill."


"Alright then. That will be exactly what I'll do."
