"If you need more sets of clothes, you can buy more. I've bought extra for your friends, and we can get them tried out and sent to get more if needed. Please pick them up by name yourself at night after I've relocated you to your new living areas."

After saying what needed to be said, Xuanmei placed two stacks of books on the table, and one additional stack of papers. The stacks of books were different, the first stack being about female etiquette and the second about male etiquette, ordering them to be distributed, read, and learnt.

The papers were all the ingredients and their prices. There were a whole stack of them

"If you want to earn, you have to learn," Xuanmei said to them, "Everything they order, write it down on a piece of paper, and send it to the kitchen."

"Then, write the price separately along with the table number and keep it on the table, after which you shall bring it to the counter to calculate the price of the meal. Please memorise them after you've recruited your friends. They are important.

"We will conduct free language lessons for you, which will happen every weekend. You are now free to go. Please remember to gather all of your friends as have the intention of employing them and giving them food and shelter."

After hearing that, and though the words sounded harsh, the slaves felt grateful as they finally are accepted by someone who treated them equally, gives them a job, feeds them, and pays them.

Heck, their 'employer' even agreed to educate them even though they were born lowly, a slave to others! They definitely must have saved a few lives in their past one.

Most of the slaves had already been nursed to good health. Within two days, most had already seeked out doctors, ate well, and gave some money to their families if they had any. Some were still slightly sick, either coughing or sneezing.

However, Xuanmei decided to ignore that fact because they are most likely alright.

After all, they worked under a manager, who always stayed indoors, and even if they weren't treated nicely, the probability of them gaining some huge, incurable disease and yet they still haven't infected their comrades that they see every day?

Unlikely, but it might happen. Healthcare came first if Xuanmei wanted to take these people under her wing.

Of course, after saving them, even if they have unwavering, unfaltering loyalty to her, it would still be useless if they were pale, sickly and weak.

Sighing, she mentally made a small note to help her remember to invite a doctor here.

It wasn't about just some small health issues anymore, they had to really be careful as their immune system must be frail from the mistreatment that the poor slaves received from the manager's attendees.

If they really had a health problem, it has to be diagnosed and treated properly and correctly with care. Otherwise, the disease will spread, and it won't exactly spell out 'Happy ending.'
