*I am losing sleep to write this. Ugh, man... Is it worth it? I dunno, but might as well keep doing it, right? Not like it's detrimental to my health and gives me sleep problems or anyth- Oh. It is harmful. Oh well.


"Hey Xiu LiXing, Liu YuXuan! Hurry up and come out! Our new dorm mate is here!"


"Ai*! We have another one?" A male voice rang out.


"Wait, aren't all of you, except one, supposed to be attending classes today, right, like, now?"


"The one who's not supposed to be in class is the one who greeted you at the door. The unladylike lady was too lazy to bother with class and the permanently annoyed-sounding male is sick today."


"How rude!" Xiu LiXing retorted, patting the blonde on the shoulder, copying the action of slapping, but done on the shoulder lightly.


Liu Yuxuan jumped onto a chair, sticking her legs out onto the ground, shrugging. "I mean, it's true."


"You can be meaner than that, you know-"


Xuanmei gave up on trying to listen to their argument. 


Liu Yuxuan gasped, jumping up from the chair and feigning surprise. 


"Wait, no! Stop! Stop! She has a cat. Let's be responsible and not argue in front of the cat!" Xiu LiXing announced. Xuanmei could definitely see Xiu LiXing as the father figure of the group.


"You're right! So sorry, dear black cat!" Liu Yuxuan apologized.


"We can see it. It's apparently hurt too. We are basically the healer's team in this academy. All of us here except you know how to heal... For now."


"She's just creepily psychic, I guess." the blonde who greeted Xuanmei at the door replied. "The both of us literally have no idea why or how she knows. She just does."


Xuanmei nodded, taking note of this, quite honestly, suspicious ability of Yuxuan's.


"What sector are you going to start in tomorrow? Fire, I presume? After all, Lixing is a light and dark mix, and Xuanxuan* studies in the Water sector and the psychic sector. I, myself, study wood and earth."


"Man, if they wanted all the colors of the rainbow, they should've just said it."


Xuanmei snickered. "Skittles would've been a good option," (A: Yes! Two candy jokes today!)


Unfortunately, all three of them heard it.


"Skittles, huh? Well, I mean, it's true that there's nothing like tasting the rainbow, right, LiXing, Yuanze?"

*萱萱: A nickname; close to 萱草, of which the English Definition means 'Orange day-lily'


*The everyday pains of an author, man. I am so lucky I didn't decide to update on the days where I literally get little to no sleep (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.) Man, this is actually a pain!
