HaRui's eyes narrowed, staring into Xuanmei's onyx black ones.


Sighing, he sat down on the chair near the counter where the rabbit was placed. He stroked the rabbit gingerly, looking at Xuanmei.


"Let me guess, you're going to look for the meriandem in this school."


"You trust very easily. What if I wanted to stop you from getting it?"


"Yeah, I do. Especially when someone who wants to stop me totally puts the effort to hear me out before I get to feel a sword against my throat."


"Fair enough. Hey, what for do you want it?"

HaRui shrugged, "Suit yourself. Anyway, Xuanmei, right? YuLing has asked me to give you cultivation pills."

"You don't have to pretend. I know you have a coloured Pagoda. Either way, I shall hand these pills to you. Please take care of them and place them in somewhere you would normally check in every few days."


Xuanmei muttered a sound of understanding as she took the pills from HaRui.


"The white pills are level one cultivation pills, the Ivory ones are level two ones and the silver ones are level three cultivation pills. Understood?"(A: Geez, I kept writing 'level tree' for some reason)


Xuanmei shrugged just as YuXuan came back, panting heavily.


"I got the ke... You guys are still talking?"


"Nah. It's just another one YuLing picked up."


"Oh, Liu YuLing, the one with, like, ten guardians?"
