6. helping some stranger

As a goddess who cherishes the land that she touches I can't simply step away from helping an unknown, injured one at sight. I took the man's head on my lap and placed my hand over his chest and started chanting the healing spell

While I was still chanting, the young man got a little bit conscious and oped his eyes.

" Stay still just bare this pain a little longer and then it will be all over " I said.

With my words our eyes collided but when he was about to ask something he again collapsed. After healing up his outer wound I gently settled his head down my lap on the meadow and went to search for few fruits that could help him pull up. But for the most of all he needed a healing pill too and it seemed that he was lucky that I was the one who found him in this state, I had a few healing pills with me. So I laid the fruits down and made him eat the pill, as the pill was a little bitter his facial expression was really amusing. Looking at him I was about to give out a laugh but I heard footsteps approaching me so I casted a spell to return back to the tree again and quitely heard...

"Soldiers search every inch of the forest and if you find Third Prince Jing immediately inform me"...

Later I saw few guards approaching me and as they saw that person lying on the ground they called " Commander, we found Prince Jing and he is completely soaked in blood..." A man in an heavy armour soon rushed to the spot and I think he might be the commander. The victim's and the commander's emblems matched, it was the emblem of the Great Griffin Kingdom..." Wow its really unexpecting..." I bragged to myself.

The commander took the prince's arm on his shoulder and escorted him out followed by other soldiers behind. I was a bit relieved when he glared back at me with fierce eyes and told one of the soldier to take his place and started to gain back at me; I was frightened to hell and as he bowed down I was shocked and I did close my eyes in fear and when I opened them I saw him taking the fruits from the ground that I had gathered for the Prince. He then went out of the forest leaving me blind about the situation that just happened in front of my eyes.

With a great sigh I sorted " At first I thought that I was noticed for sure...and it is quite silly of me after all I am in the tree now.

I was extremely tired after using the healing spell but my energy was regained soon. As far as I have gone through the scripts I found that I can regenerate life and death as well help recover but it all came with a price that I am still unknown of.
