23. Rules

I woke up with a strong arm around me.

Events from the last night appeared in my mind again. The urge to run was strong, but I decided to trust Leo. A deep and sexy voice from behind me disturbed my thoughts.

"Where did you run to with this head of yours little one?"

I felt safe in his arms. I snuggled closer to his chest and without turning I asked.

"Why do you call me little one?"

"You don't like it?" He seemed puzzled by my question.

"I do like it, I just don't know the reason, other than me being smaller than you."

"Small things are easy to lose, so I should carry my little one with me all the time." ~gosh, is he not embarrassed to say something like that?
