Chun Yun

"Brother Chun, here is our daily commision of ration for today."

If Muyong were here, he would recognize that the one speaking is one of Shu Gong's minions.

Unlike Muyong's minimalistic room, this place is eerie to the bone. Perhaps due to the fact that there is a mask hanging on top of the bed, or the cold chill that ran through one's bones, this room is abnormally strange.

"Only two bags?" Chun Yun took it off his hand, then opened up the bag.

Inside are a dozen pellets in the shape of a sphere bearing a brownish color. On the outside, a multitude of carvings is engraved to fit the shape of the pellet.

Chun Yun held a single pellet with a pinch between his thumb and index finger, he could see the brown-green tone work in harmony to form its shape. Though he cannot not understand the profundity of the engravings, he knew how useful this pellet is.

This is a grain pellet distributed by the Instructor of the Demon Cave.

A grain pellet is capable of filling one's hunger for three days. Inside of this bag alone, there are dozens!

Not only that, the grain pellets distributed by the Instructor are the highest quality with no impurity… Unlike normal grain pellets that contain a reeking stench akin to stinky tofu, the pellet in his hand emits a sweet scent that could arouse one's appetite.

"I heard what happened with Shu Gong… Give him a reminder to see me after he recovers from Qi deviation." Chun Yun prompted as he swiftly placed the pellet into the bag then sealed it closed.

All the while, He is relieved that Chun Yun is satisfied with the supply. He could not bear to get a glimpse of Chun Yun's face.

Chun Yun speaks in a gentle manner, a disposition matching a prince, his voice is truly soothing to those who are ignorant of his actions.

However, he knew well how dangerous Chun Yun was. Chun Yun was not someone he could look in the eyes.

Even Shu Gong had to kneel in front of this person!

There is simply too much of a gap in strength. There are only a few who could afford to contend with Chun Yun in the Demon Cave, and due to his nature, he became a hoarder.

To be soaked with anger but only grit his teeth in pain, nothing can be done without adequate power. They say those who keep their head lowered tend to live longer.

Facing Chun Yun, he felt that his head would soar towards heaven on its own in his sleep if he behaved out of line!

Chun Yun threw the bag of grain pellets toward his stone bed. Gave out a couple of orders, then dismissed everyone outside.

They hurriedly left his room, not letting the dust beneath their feet settle.

Once again, Chun Yun stood upright facing the silent echo.

In pure anger, he lashed out viciously.

"Shu Gong, slow-witted little piece of shit! You may as well piss on the ground and use it as a reflection to show heaven how incompetent you are!"

Bam!

A palm is imprinted on the stone table after he moved his hand.

Chun Yun, blinded by his loss of control, was fuming with anger due to the incompetence of his subordinate.

He despises incompetent people who shake his control. In some way, Chun Yun dislikes the idea that something is out of his control.

Realizing that his emotion rampaged, he quickly collected his thoughts.

Chun Yun wasn't just powerful, he is devious in his ways of putting those beneath him under his control.

He recognized those that can be controlled like pawns and those he cannot control.

For example, Yi Hua is not someone that can be under him. At the same time, she is not the type to meddle in others' business as long as he does not overstep her boundary.

Naturally, Chun Yun does not go out of his way to cause her any trouble.

It is due to his innate ability to judge a person that makes him so dangerous.

As for Shu Gong, he could not blame him either. Being a great leader means recognizing what is right and wrong, after all, if too much injustice is harbored in one's body, it's easy to lose control.

This was a lesson taught by his deceased mother.

If he picks fault with Shu Gong, the mad hound would be bound to bite back at its owner. As such, he had to act accordingly.

Not only that, you can only blame Shu Gong for being careless with his training, to experience Qi deviation in itself a great punishment… there was no need to be harsh on him.

He struck a pot of bad luck to have Qi deviation while extorting Muyong.

Chu Yan is truly devious and clever for someone of his age. His thoughts are put into plans. By using the gaps and crevices within the Demon Cave, he let others do his bidding without lifting a finger.

"There is more than one way to survive in this harsh world and strength is simply one of them. Why use a cleaver to kill a chicken?" Chun Yun held a sword in his right palm, then effortlessly swung his wooden sword.

Shiik!

A straight line chisel against the wall.

"Muyong? I'll have to see him for myself…"
