Dark Magic

"Run!" I get pulled back into the darkness my heart races fast and my body hits the wall hard and I black out. Ruby and Josh run off and try to get supplies to come back, as my body lays on the floor a dark object shaped like a human comes towards me with something in their hand. I slowly open my eyes and sees them.

"W-w-who are you?" I groan and tries to stand up.

Voice: "This for your own good." he stands me on my veins of my arm then injects me with something.

"Ahhh!" he takes it out then I grab my arm in pain. I look back up at the dark object and it slowly disappears into the darkness. "Help!" I tried yelling and I slowly crawl to the door, I get up then opens it, I look around and everything turned into dots.

Blurry person; "Sam?!" the blurry obeys runs to me and I give up and falls onto the ground. The last thing I knew was being carried by a guy.

Ruby: "He is waking up" I slowly open my eyes and looks around seeing Josh, Ruby, and...Dillian?

Josh: "Hey how do you feel?" he runs my shoulder and I keep looking at Dillian.

"W-w-why is he here?" I struggle to speak.

Dillian: "I found you in the woods, I heard screaming and once I went towards it. It was you and I took you to the hospital."

"Thank you" I smile at him then reaches for his hand. He smiles back the holds it, I blush a bit then turns away.

Ruby; "So hey did anything happened? Are you okay?"

"I-i-i think so, the last thing I saw was a black object and it," I look behind Ruby and it was back this time I could see somewhat of how it looked like it put its finger to its lips and shakes its head. "It let me go and that's when I saw something running towards me and I collapsed.

Dillian; "Well the doctors seem to find nothing on you but your left eye seem to turn blind."

"Oh" I was confused because it didn't seem like I was I could still see through my eyes but just I see things more different than the other eye.

Ruby: "You sure nothing happened?'' I nod as the dark spirit stands next to her.

"I'm fine, so can I go back home please?"

Josh: "The nurse said that we can go home tomorrow, so just get some more rest we will be here on the chairs making sure you're okay." I nod then lays back down onto the bed, as I blink the dark spirit smiles at me then disappears. I look down at my arm and my veins turn black then back to blue. I think to myself.

"What the hell is going on?" The nurse leaves the room and closes the door. The room slowly turns dark and everyone has fallen asleep, I see a dark shadow across the room then it starts to speak.

Faded Voice: " You shall not tell anyone what had happened."

Faded Voice 2: "You are one of us now and shall obey of what we say as to use your magic, be careful or else if someone catches you, you shall pay the price and be experimented on."

Faded Voice 3: "That's what they did to us, torched us and experimented on us to figure out what was wrong with us."

Faded Voice: "After they gave up they left us to die, and now we are just shadows being forgotten by our loved ones."

"But why me?" the spirits all stood next to each other and stared at me.

Faded Voice 2: "Because you are a pure soul, you're too kind and innocent so we figured why not give him something interesting."

Faded Voice: "So we injected you with something rare to this universe, dark magic."

Faded Voice 3: "You can do many things, however, you cannot tell anyone or else they will hate you, call you a monster, a freak, they will see differently in everything you do."

"But they're my friends, I trust them."

Faded Voice: " They left you, and you can never trust anyone in this world, humans are poison and all they do is destroy homes and kill for their own need."

Faded Voice 3: "Face it kid, your all alone and these people are labeled as your friend but they can just leave you as fast."

"Well I promise I would keep it a secret and do as you say, just can I at least know your names?"

Faded Voice: "Luke"

Faded Voice 2: "Chris"

Faded voice 3; "Liam"

"Okay, but I have one question. Once you guys injected me one of you said it was for my own good, why?" I look at them and my left eye started to see them clearer than the right. They were so young and seem to be good people.

Liam: "You will see soon." They all faded back into the darkness and I close my eyes when they open once again and it was morning ruby stand next to me and Josh does also, but Dillian was gone.

Ruby: "Hey is waking up" she waves over to someone and as I looked it was Dillian. "Hey, you okay? What happened?" I get confused as this already happened but I went along with it.

"Yeah I'm fine, and no not that I can remember." I smile then sits up.

Nurse: "Well you are free to go but let me just check If theirs anything else we need to do to make sure nothing is wrong, however, you have gone blind in your left eye for some reason." She leaves then I look at Dillian.

"Hey you wanna hang out sometime with us?" he smiles at me and nods.

Dillian: "Sure" Ruby smiles at me and so does Josh.

Josh; "Well we are glad your okay Sam, and we are never going to do that again."

Ruby: "Never say never" she rolls her eyes.

*Hours later*

We head to the mall to get some ice cream and I walk with Dillian next to me. Josh and Ruby leave me with him on purpose, I look at Dillian and smiles.

Dillian: "So, I've been thinking maybe we can go on a date or something." He looks down smiling and his hands in his pockets.

"Oh sure." I kiss his cheek then smiles again.

Dillian: "Sounds good" he blushes and reaches for my hand to hold it. I hold his hand as we walk in then Ruby and Josh looks at us then smiles.

Ruby: "So you guys together or something?" she laughs and I look down blushing a lot.

Dillian; "No not yet, but I do want him to be mine" he smiles down at me then puts his arm around me. I groan and my arm starts to hurt. "You okay?" he looks down at me.

"Y-yeah l just need to use the restroom really quick I will meet you guys at the ice cream shop." I run to the bathroom then goes to one of the mirrors, I look into the mirror and my eyes slowly turn black and I look at my arms and my veins turn darker I put my hand on the mirror and...
