I Am Marwa

Young boy struggled, his body were darkening every second and his brows furrowed with pain: "I cannot believe a shaman like you can also believe this nonsense! Are you talking about Marwa as Immortal? Only one person known in the past exceeds Heavenly Stage. He is Earth God Marwa! Even that god could not claim he was immortal! Did he appear now at other continent or do you think there is one more person who also at same degree?! Why I have no memory about 'this human' you talk about?!"

Snow White carefully approached to the young man and examined him curiously. Except some weird tattoos and strange earrings on his right ear, he was not looking strange and not even older than her. "No, he is not Marwa. The Immortal maybe suddenly appeared and maybe we don't know who was he or she. It's presence untouchable and shiny. We cannot even make eye contact. After The Immortal appeared humans started to awaken one by one. Not all of them, low possibility to be awaken some powers but it still happens. And this is the gift of The Immortal." She said with an attitude of believer.

"Now, where did u come from?" Reiko asked impatiently. She lost her all interest in the stranger after seeing it's just a young boy. They were aiming to meet strong shamans or huge groups.

"Awaken ones. Awakening… Has these any side effect? Can The Immortal you mentioned can control these people?" Young boy didn't answer her. He was more in concern about his sister than his own pain.

"Enough! Listen, we have no reason to hurt you. Lead the way to the awaken one. A prophet is a very rare ability. Since we came here to gather everyone, we can give priority to your place." Reiko sighed and slowly said.

"Leading you to my sister to take her away? Sure. Xiao Yan!" Young boy shouted loudly. Old man eyes widened. "Princess, be careful!"

*BOOM*

A person in dazzling azure lightning dancing around his body appeared out of nowhere and spun around himself to create giant crimson globe of flames which swept the sticky dark flames on the young boy's body for a second to give him a chance to move his hands.

Old man shielded the two princesses with his golden equipment and guardians around pulled their swords to attack. However newcomer didn't stop for a single second after his attack and left their sights suddenly as he came.

"Lightning teleportation! He can be everywhere. Be careful!" Old man ordered to his men.

"He already gone" said Reiko.

"How do you know?" asked the old man.

Reiko pointed to the young boy in front of them. Then they realised the young boy already disappeared and left behind a green humanoid puppet created by woods. The reappeared dark flames were burning it to ashes.

"It's surprising this huge apple tree was not a part of the illusion"

Reiko helped Snow White to sit on one of the branches of the apple tree and ordered her guards to check surroundings.

With all of this happening, no one noticed, but the apple tree that was watching them was muttering some words. He was continuously muttering something.

- Marwa? Marwa… Marwa… Marwa… Marwa…

- Marwa? Marwa is? What? Why does it look so familiar?! Why do I feel as if I had forgotten something important?!

The apple tree could not find answers to these questions. However, he wanted to repeat the same words. He wanted to memorize these words not to forget them again.

- Marwa, Earth God Marwa, Shaman God, Marwa, Formations…

The apple tree kept trembling. At that time, the tiny red scorpion stood still, jumped out of the tree and landed on the floor. The unexpected movement of the scorpion distracted the focus of the apple tree.

He looked involuntarily at the scorpion. Is the scorpion leaving him as others and never will come back? From the beings he had met the moment he opened his eyes, there was only one tiny scorpion left. For the apple tree, this scorpion had a spiritual significance. He wanted to repeat the words not to forget, but he had to see what the scorpion would do.

The tiny red scorpion was standing without moving. Suddenly it slipped in the sand at the bottom of the tree and disappeared! The apple tree trembled involuntarily. Did the scorpion really leave him? But the next second, two steps away from the tree, the scorpion reappeared. The apple tree was happy to see the scorpion again, but the scorpion was now more distant from the tree. Before irregular mood of the apple tree changing again, the scorpion returned to the bottom of the tree with the same move. While the scorpion was repeating these displacements, the Apple tree remembered something.

- This? This is my skill. It looks like my skill! Earth drive! My skill?! Earth Drive is my skill?! Shaman God Marwa… Earth God Marwa! Earth Drive! I'm Marwa! I AM MARWA! I am a shaman! I was a shaman…

Marwa could remember who he was. To be known as Earth God, and a period of information about the shamanism brought back some memories in his mind. He was able to remember that he was human and also a shaman... He looked at his own body.

- How have I become this? Why am I a tree now?

But he didn't repeat these questions. Maybe if he had found out that he was a human sooner, he could have had fear and panic, but he was a tree for a long time. He was quite used to this new life. He saw himself as more of a tree than of a human...

His eyes searched for the scorpion that helped him remember them. The scorpion was already replaced in the trunk of the tree, and it seemed as if nothing had happened. The scorpion had never left.

If the apple tree had a mouth, it would be possible to see the smile on Marwa's face. This scorpion had helped him all the time so far but he still couldn't remember it. He looked desperately at this tiny red creature.

- Tiny red, I owe you.

From his past, there was no memory about the scorpion. All the scorpions that he could remember were bigger than this scorpion. The memories he obtained were what they learned about shamanic life and calls of some people by his name. These people were vague and their appearance could not be clarified in his minds.

Marwa took a deep breath and tried to control the earth. With this movement, the wind and dust cloud around the tree stopped and began to disintegrate. However, there was no movement in the earth. Marwa couldn't control the earth. He had no such talent anymore ... But there was something else. Shamans, along with the small amount of energy in their human bodies, were able to direct the energy of nature.

Marwa couldn't direct nature anymore, but he could store energy into his tree body. In this way, maybe he could make any desired movements tirelessly! He focused and started absorbing earth energy from nature into its trunk.
