Clichés 2: Because You're A Gremlin

"Are you alright?"

A haggard looking Jenny Nichols looked up from the menu to her boyfriend sitting across from her. They were at their favorite restaurant, having the first dinner together after three weeks of gruesome workload. Her bubblegum hair was all over the place, and her boyfriend looked at her fondly as he reached out and placed an unruly strand behind her ear.

"Do I look alright to you?" Jenny retorted, making her lover chuckle. "Nathan, I'm not amused. I feel worse than someone who'd just given birth."

"You haven't given birth yet, how would you know that?" Nathan teased, earning him a murderous look from his tired girlfriend. "Just kidding," he added as he leaned over and planted a chaste kiss on her lips. "My poor, poor, duckling," he crooned, making the other sigh. "Did Kimmy give you a hard time at work again?"

"Always," Jenny answered readily. "And she's getting worse," she added with a groan. "She's like PMSing all the time."
