Clichés 10: A Different Level of Hate

He was being avoided and knew about it. 

"Hey boss," Nathan Mo called out, and Henry lifted his eyes from the paper he was working on to look at his assistant. 

"What?" he grumbled as the other guy crossed the room towards his table.

The smile plastered on Nathan's face was too bright that the executive grimaced. He was not welcoming of anything cheerful these days— not since that day Kim told him why he was being detested.

"I think Kim Yue hates you," Nathan informed him cheerfully and Henry sighed. 

"I know," he answered noncommittally. It was something that's not unknown to him anyway, but the other was persistent.

"No! No boss— this was definitely an entirely new level of hate. Kim Yue really, really, really, really, hates you now," his assistant continued cheerfully and Henry's almond eyes turned to slits as he gave the imbecile a rabid smile.
