Arc 2.8

Sonya looks at the court summon in anger. Her other plan had also failed! Well, at least she made Glen doubt Tai. She grabs her phone to call Glen. She is gonna leave a tip on where the bomb was made.

"Hello, the bomb came from the basement of the old building in vale Valley," Sonya says with a voice changer and hangs up. The place has hair of Tai which she grabbed from his brush when they were shooting. She also placed hair strands of Savannah too.

"haha, Glen will soon be mine! Tai Savannah you will soon go down!" Sonya shouts.

Travis looks around and obviously, it looked set up. The mess looks too organized the gun power looked like they scattered it.

"The bomb wasn't made here at all probably faked" the guard states. Glen nods in agreement Travis looks over and finds the hair strands that look that they were also scattered.

"I bet these are probably Tai's hair" Travis states as he grabs the hairs.

"Yep a set up we have to find the real workshop" Glen states a he stands.

Tai looks at Alaric who has puppy eyes asking for Tai to sleep with him on the same bed instead of the guest room.

"Please I still feel down" Alaric tears up. Tai looks at him up and down with a suspicious glint.

"You're not gonna do anything right?" Tai asks a bit nervously. Alaric nods trying to soothe him towards the idea. Tai felt like it would be dangerous but Alaric wouldn't do anything right?

"Please" Alaric begs more. Tai looks at Alaric and nods. Alaric smiles widely and hands Tai a pair of pajamas so he doesn't sleep in normal clothing. Alaric for some reason felt fear of separating from Tai. For some reason, he feels if he let's go of him he would disappear.

"I'm done dressing" Tai states as he finishing changing. Alaric nods and goes to bed and pats the side of him. Tai reluctantly goes and lays down.

"Tai, can I ask something personal? It's okay if you don't answer" Alaric whispers. Tai turns to face Alaric and looks at him.

"Hmm" Tai agrees.

"What happened to you? Why are you paranoid and reluctant to make friends?" Alaric asks he could invade Tai privacy and have people find out. However, he wanted Tai to tell him.

"Well, I and Glen were basically raised together. My parents worked for his parents before I was even born. So when I was three Glen was born. His parents didn't want him to be on his own so they let me be around him. I soon saw him as a little brother" Tai looks at Alaric if he understands.

"So when he was 7 and I was 10. We were kidnapped by the enemies of Glen's family. They took me and made me choose who I want to live. My parents or Glen and I chose Glen to live without hesitation. They were killed right in front of me. Then the second question came I or Glen. Again without an ounce of hesitation, I chose Glen" Tai stops for a bit to calm down. His body felt grief he guesses from the past owner. Alaric eyes became red and his fist is clenched.

"They at first wanted to show to Glen that in life in death people are selfish. However, their plan failed so instead they wanted Glen to kill me. So he would live with that guilt. But soon the guards found us and saved us. After that, I hate being touched and have major trust issues. Since the kidnappers, were people we knew" Tai finishes his story glad that he didn't cry or anything. That he was able to say it seriously. Alaric pulls him into a hug tears running down his face.

"You didn't deserve that at all!" Alaric states. He is so glad that he didn't stop trying to befriend Tai.

"It was long ago" Tai soothes Alaric. His voice still cold and detached but Alaric knows that Tai is trying.

Glen and Travis carefully help with the inspection of Tai's home. But that's when they spot something suspicious at the window. It looked like someone tried to force it open from the outside. They weren't able to open it all the way. But they could fit an arm to grab anything from arms reach. It could explain how Tai things ended up in the setups.

"She truly wants to bring down Tai" Travis states. Glen nods in agreement couldn't help but think that Sonya is bat shit crazy. Glen's phone buzzes and he answers.

"Boss I think we found the real workshop it's a warehouse rented by Sonya and we found explosives. We already added some extra evidence so they know it's Sonya. We should report this and act as we found it by accident" reports one of the guards

"How did you find it?" Asks Glen curiously it should have taken much more time.

"I got a text from what I suspect from the same sender who sent us the last tip. They seem like they are helping Tai" the guard responds.

"I see" Glen answers.

Tai smiles as he sees that the surveillance of Sonya is beneficial. She is just ruining herself and doesn't even know. She is terrible at hiding her tracks. It's a shame that the heroines basically just unknowingly destroy themselves. Tai let's sleep take over once he confirms that Glen got the information. Ignoring the fact that Alaric is a hugger when he sleeps.

Alaric glances to see if Tai finally went to sleep before getting up and head out to the balcony. He takes out his phone and calls Travis.

"Did everything go well?" Alaric asks worriedly.

"Yes, we found the workshop and discovered it was Sonya. She wanted to blame Tai as the creator of the bomb by putting evidence in a building near Tai with a bomb made and scattered materials" Travis explains. Alaric heart drops fearing for Tai's safety what if one day she has enough and just goes straight for the kill.
