Arc 3.1

The teacher walks in he had an annoyed look he had to deal with the annoying elders before he had come to class.

"Now new student Jasiel you will have a competition with Martell to see where you are placed. The first part will just be testing how well you can use your instrument and use light magic. The second part will be fighting ability and how well you can do in battle. Which you'll fight Martell to see where you are placed" the teacher orders. Jasiel nods in agreement the ten students stood up and they head to the test room. Where they can see the amount of light magic they can call upon with their instrument. The brighter the ball becomes corresponds to how much light magic they can summon.

"Good luck," Martell says with a smile. Jasiel nods he takes out his flute which Elara quickly recognizes it but couldn't help but be confused. Jasiel didn't use a violin but a flute?! Jasiel smiles slightly which causes everyone to be a bit baffled at his beauty. He soon starts playing the flute resonated throughout the room. Everyone started to feel relaxed and felt like all their worries are gone. The ball in the center started to brighten up quickly. Blinding them which they hadn't seen since Martell took the test.

"Great job Jasiel" The teacher exclaims in happiness now there are two pillars of humanity!

"Thank you, teacher" Jasiel responds. Then they are headed to the training ground.

"No hard feeling no matter what happens," Martell says Jasiel nods in acceptance. The two started to fight Martell depends on power while Jasiel depended more on speed and precision. Eventually, the two ended up as a tie.

"Well since Martell has the black suit you'll use the white suit Jasiel as both of you are equals" the teacher announces. He hands him the new suit. He tells Jasiel to quickly change into his new suit.

"How could he be this strong!? He shouldn't be this strong" Elara mumbles to herself. Martell heard what she said and couldn't help but look at her in disgust. When Jasiel comes out again with his new suit they couldn't help but think it matched his frosty persona.

"Now tomorrow will be a special day we will be training with the Academy of front line fighters! They don't use instruments but they are just as important. As they protect you and kill the dark monsters. Their bodies get stronger when they absorb the light magic magician cause" explains the teacher. Jasiel smiles the original didn't participate as he wasn't able to use an instrument. Some students look uncomfortable.

"Martell, why are people acting like this?" Jasiel questions curiously. Martell turns to him and had an unsatisfied look.

"Our schools might get along in the public eye but we the students hate each other guts. The other school thinks we are weak and are like sticks" Martell answers. Jasiel nods in understanding.

"Martell, want to go on a date with me?" Elara buts in Jasiel and Martell conversation. Martell looks very uncomfortable and looks at Jasiel.

"He can't he already promised to show me around the school and then around the town. So he is gonna be busy these days" Jasiel declares with a tiny smirk. Martell looks at Jasiel gratefully.

"Hm, we need to go" Martell agrees and makes a sign to Jasiel to come with him. Once they were a distance from Elara the two sigh in relief.

"Jasiel!" Screams a young lady Jasiel recognizes her. She is the fiance he denied when he lived at home.

"Run," Jasiel says before running away. Martell shrugs and follows the two soon left the academy grounds. Jasiel sighs in relief once they made it to his home.

"What a tiring day this is my home Martell as I don't do well with others" Jasiel states as he enters. Martell enters Jasiel home and smiles.

"Hey, do you think we can play together?" Martell questions softly. Jasiel smiles and nods in agreement.

"We can let's play!" Jasiel announces as he takes out his flute. Martell grabs his guitar which he carried on his back the whole time. Martell plays a melody on the guitar very softly. Jasiel starts to play his flute when he thought it was right. The two instruments played in harmony not overpowering the other.

People walking passing Jasiel home couldn't help but stop and hear the beautiful music. A young man couldn't help but be entranced by the music especially the flute. The music called him his body started to react and get stronger. He decided to leave for the safety of others he might bump into someone and hurt them badly. The person playing they'll probably meet them tomorrow.

Jasiel felt his heart skip a beat for a second. He didn't stop playing but he wanted to now for some reason he felt no motivation anymore.

"Let's stop here I'm hungry want to eat something?" Jasiel says as he puts his flute down. Martell nods in agreement and Jasiel heads to the kitchen to cook up some alfredo.

Elara frowned why isn't Jasiel bullying her? Why is Martell ignoring her? He loves her why did he ignore her? Jasiel is supposed to be a starter at the violin, not a master at the flute? Are these the ripples she caused? She didn't change anything!! She has to win Martell back he belonged to her and no one else!

"I have to start the rumors, no I cannot it's way too early I did it 3 months after! If I do it now I might even destroy all my chances" Elara whispers to herself. Ignoring all the looks she is getting from people.

"See you tomorrow Martell!" Jasiel says once Martell decided it was time to leave. Martell waves goodbye and he had a giant smile on his face. He has a friend! An actual friend now! Someone who isn't using him for status a person he can joke around with.

"Hm, friendless people like Martell are easy to befriend if you don't act like your obsessed with them" Jasiel states to himself.
