Arc 3.5

Jasiel smirks as he packs for the unexpected training trip that the academy decided on mysteriously. Didn't you know that unfortunate accidents can happen at the borders? Maybe the heroine does all the work for him.

"Jasiel lets head out together" Martell shouts from outside his home.

"Why aren't you at the academy you live in the dorms?" Jasiel asks curiously once he comes out of his house.

"I had to buy a sleeping bag" Martell answers. Jasiel nods in acceptance at the two head back to the academy quietly. Well as long as they lasted since soon the heroine out of nowhere appeared.

"Martell Jasiel what a coincidence that we bump into each other" Elara says shyly.

"Who are you again? Nevermind it doesn't matter let's go Martell" Jasiel states coldly. He doesn't want to deal with the heroine at this point.

"Why are you so mean!" Elara cries out with tears running down her face. Martell just rolls his eyes at her. However, people around them started to glare at Jasiel for being rude.

"We saw you following us near my house. I know you have a crush on my friend but it's disgusting to see you stalk him" Jasiel continues as he gives Elara a frigid glare.

"Oh, my poor boy getting stalked by a crazed girl" whispers a woman near them. They didn't doubt it as Elara is looking at Martell and only Martell.

"I'm not! You stole him from me! He was supposed to be mine!" Elara screams in anger. Martell was her lover! He loved her so much! He would do whatever she asked him to do.

"You're delusional why would a Prince get together with you? You aren't that pretty and your skills are terrible" Jasiel says as he rolls his eyes and walks away with Martell. Elara froze she is pretty she did get Martell. He loved her and even killed, for her. There is no way that be didn't love her.

"Martell, you love me right?" Elara screams but Martell and Jasiel were far gone.

Jasiel looks at the carriages in front of him. He is directed to the one in the front with Martell. His teacher Crow is also here with them in the carriage.

"Teacher are we meeting the knight academy there?" Jasiel asks Teacher Crow.

"Yes, we also have other minor academies to join us. We want to see if we can find more resonating partners. It's best to gather all the academies to find as many as possible! To fight the dark forces!" Teacher Crow explains.

"I see! So how will we test it?" Asks Martell.

"Well, we will have all the magicians play in front of all knights. Of course in sections as long as your resonating bonded partners you'll sense each other" Teacher Crow goes on.

"I see how many do you expect to find?" Asks Martell curiously.

"We are hoping at least 10 partners but that's if we lucky" Teacher Crow sighs finding resonating partners is difficult.

+++17 days later+++

"That was a long carriage ride" complains Martell as he stretches.

"Of course princey the borders is where you want to get away from," Jasiel says sadly thinking of his students he lost. Martell looks at Jasiel a bit confused.

"Jasiel!" Shouts Vulir from a carriage as he got off. Jasiel turns to Vulir who is smiling widely. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Vulir is scaring his fellow classmates apparently.

"Jasiel we have been placed together in a tent! As we are resonating partners, we are gonna actually be placed near the borders along with teachers and guards" Vulir explains it to Jasiel.

"We should go settle in then," Jasiel says as he turns to look at his teacher.

"Go set up Jasiel I'm going to help the others settle in. Martell and the rest of our class are placed behind the line of teachers along with Teacher Blake's class" Teacher Crow explains. Everyone nods in acceptance and head to do what they are told.

"Vulir what is wrong?" Jasiel asks as he looks at Vulir who is acting a bit strange. He seems like he wants to head to the bathroom or something.

"I want to hug you as I haven't seen you in so long!" Vulir confesses quietly.

"Oh, I don't like being hugged in front of others. You can once we set up the tent" Jasiel says as he starts to set up the tent. Vulir eyes brighten up and he takes it away from Jasiel. He only takes 8 minutes to finish building it much faster than everyone else.

"You're very quick," Jasiel says in surprise as he heads in and sets down his stuff. He gets back up and turns to see Vulir. Who immediately hugs him. Jasiel hugs back awkwardly.

"I hope you accept me because I will never leave you behind" Vulir whispers to Jasiel. Jasiel blushes slightly as Vulir hands are around his waist at the moment. And his face laying on his shoulder.

"I thought we were gonna try being friends first?" Jasiel whispers back. Vulir grip tightens.

"I know but every time I see you I just want to hug you," Vulir says softly. He didn't want to let go he fears once he let's go Jasiel will leave him.

"Hmm, I just think we shouldn't rush it" Jasiel states. Vulir sighs he knows but he needs Jasiel to agree to be with him. He feels anxious when Jasiel doesn't agree to be with him.

"Let's head out to help out then. So I can get ideas to woe you!" Vulir states with eagerness. Jasiel looks at Vulir he was gonna agree early on. However, he had made it seem that someone had broken his heart and made him reluctant to love. The two head out and teacher Blake asks them to help out a small Academy settle. The two head there to find the teachers trying to help build tents. However, the students weren't the best listeners.

"Who are you?" Asks a teen rudely. While standing in front of Jasiel.

"We were sent to help your teachers help you get settled in" Jasiel states coldly.

"We don't need some snobs to help" the teen rudely says. Vulir takes his sword and puts it near the teen's neck.

"Shut up and step aside. Insult my partner once more and I will show you why I'm the top knight student" Vulir states coldly.
