Chapter 9: A new start...

After retiring from sports, TV and music activities, he made a YouTube channel "ZianTV" and uploads his sports highlights, TV guesting's, drawing speed painting and travel vlogs around the world these past years and he has over a million subscribers. His last stop was South Korea, he arrived in South Korea first week of April, and Zian directly went to a realstate office to buy a land in Mapo district for future home and near the garbage dump site which has lower value per square meters.

He bought one thousand two hundred square meters of land, three hundred sq. mtrs. for his residential home, the rest will be a commercial space and it cost him more two billion won. Zian then, contacted and went to a construction firm to show his plans for his future home and commercial building. His home will be three-storeys high, the first floor will have a garage, living area, dining area, kitchen, swimming pool, gym, toilet and bath. The second floor will have a master bedroom, twenty rooms with toilet and bath while the third floor is recording studio, library and multi-purpose room.

The commercial building will have ten storeys high with underground parking and a private passage to his home. The first five floors for the company and the remaining floors will be for rent. The estimated cost is ten billion won for his fully furnish home and fifty billion won for the commercial building with a total of sixty billion won. The estimated time for both of his projects to finish is at least six months for his residence and a year for his commercial building.

After meeting the construction group, he got a call from his mother and text from his younger sister Nadine. Checking if he safely arrives in Seoul, he replied that his fine and will be staying in with his friend until his home is finish. He then called his friend Lee Dae-hoon, to ask if he can help him find work and also he just arrive in Seoul and has no place to stay.

"Aigoo... My Superstar friend has no home to stay in, low of funds and you want me to arrange job for you Dae-hoon asks.

"Yah! I admit that I have few bucks left after buying a land and the cost of my projects weren't cheap. I'm penniless at the moment... Dae-hoon" Zian said.

Lee Dae-hoon is a loyal and trustworthy friend of him whom Zian cherishes during his living in the Philippines. The only bad thing is that this guy likes to brag so much to his friends or family. Dae Hoon meets him after waiting half an hour at the bus stop, Dae-hoon drives his second hand car and Zian sit in the front and this guy started his bragging.

"Bro, I thought you're not coming, left me here alone so I'll went to your home in Yeosu directly and cut your boat in half" Zian said.

"Okay fine said if you want to earn money, just come here in Seoul anytime, your bro will make you a bigtime celebrity and make a lot of money" Dae-hoon said.

"Dae-hoon bro, I haven't seen you for a few years but can you lessen your bragging" Zian said.

"This brat... your bro Dae-hoon, you don't know that I often drink with Song Kang-ho, Jo In-sung and Choi Min-sik" Dae-hoon said

"Song Kang-ho, Jo In-sung and Choi Min-sik? Who are those people? Zian asks.

There's a minute of silence from Dae-hoon and he was quite frustrated at the moment.

"What the f... this brat is watching all day and you don't know who are Song Kang-ho, Jo In-sung and Choi Min-sik? In this country, who doesn't know these big stars and you still clueless now? Dae-hoon said.

Lee Dae-hoon finally remembered that this guy doesn't pay attention to things his not interested way back in the Philippines. When he put a poster of Lee young –ae in his room, during that time Jewel in the Palace was a hit in the Philippines and this guy said: "Bro, who's this saint and you always kneel and pray in front of it every time I see you in your room?" Zian asks.

"Bro, let's go now" Zian said.

"I'll take you to my home, eat some good food and take around Seoul. Wait until you're familiar with the area, if there's a chance, as long as we seize the opportunity and will become bigtime" Dae-hoon

The car suddenly stops in front of a convenience store and Dae-hoon bought a lot of instant noodles and other necessities. Looking at the groceries in front of him, Zian felt the urge to hit his friend and send him to hospital later. Lee Dae-hoon wasn't ashamed of his actions and even urges Zian to spend less.

"What's wrong? This is instant noodles with ramen, beef and chicken flavors. I usually only eat kimchi stew or kimchi ramen" Dae-hoon said.

"Yah! F***er, how can you live like this and lying straight in my face? Zian asks.

They walk up in an old apartment and he look around the bleak room, feeling like he was falling in a trap by Dae-hoon. Although he doesn't care much about the Korean entertainment industry, at least he knows that there's a lot of money bigtime celebrities earns. This time, Lee Dae-hoon still looking confident at his friend who's going crazy in this pig nest.

"Please believe me bro, it's only temporary, as long as we work hard together and our fate will change soon" Dae-hoon said.

Because of close relation with Dae-hoon, he knows that his friend exaggerates a bit, he wasn't angry at all but curious and it wouldn't be bad starting from the bottom.

"Bro, when we're at the station, you called yourself Blaze and what does it mean really? Zian asks.

This make Dae-hoon explains to him with pleasure and wants to lecture him some insider stuffs.

"It's just my English name if translated directly so do you like it?" Dae-hoon asks.

Zian just glare at him at his face and he wants to smack this guy's face.

"Bro, I know that you don't really know this English stuff but don't talk nonsense without thinking it twice" Zian said.

"Really bro, I thought it was a cool thing" Dae-hoon said.

Dae-hoon sees him so determined, he often hear it from others, it felt good when he tried it so he always do this in front others and it always makes them laugh so he thought that he was doing a good job.

"Of course bro, English is my second language and I have been studying it since primary school to college" Zian said.

Zian was hungry, even though its unhealthy stuff such as instant noodles but he able to finish eating three packs of it. His stomach was full and finally got the chance to ask his friend.

"Bro, what kind company you have in mind? Zian asks.

Lee Dae-hoon was thinking for a while and said: "in the entertainment industry, there's a lot of potential artist around we can cultivate to become famous, make money and that we should do".

Zian look at him suspiciously and asks: "Do you really have a way?

Lee Dae-hoon wasn't happy to be doubted again by this guy and so he replied: "Do you think your brother is playing around in Seoul for the past years? I've been telling that I know a lot of big names in the entertainment industry. Song Kang-ho, Jo In-sung and Choi Min-sik, all of them had drinks with me..."

Zian wasn't fully convinces and who the hell are those guys, so Dae-hoon added in and said: "To tell you the truth, I've been helping a lot as a crew in TV shows and movies so I have a little knowledge on the entertainment circle and we can start from the basics. I know a good senior gagman so when we find a good trainee; I can ask him to guest in their shows and earn money along the way."

"Okay fine bro, it seems I can't get away from showbiz circle so give me time until tomorrow to think about it" Zian said.

"We can do it and learn slowly. Just follow your brother and I will take the rest" Dae-hoon confidently said.

The mood in the room was depressing so Zian got up and walk out to breathe a fresh air.

"What are you doing? Dae-hoon quickly asks.

"I'm going out for a walk coz it's too stuffy in here" Zian replied.

"Do you know the way back?" Dae-hoon asks.

"It's not hard to go back here and I'm familiar with the neighbor at a glance." Zian said.

After their conversation, he went down the parking and rides his bicycle to a place where he can get fresh air. He left home to start a new life away from scratch and came here alone.
