Chapter Sixteen- On The Way To Safety

Sakura he is a strange one and Is it just me or does he look at me with pity? Frowning a bit with a pinch of my beloved righteous ego taking a damn soccer punch, by a man in the damn zone of having his whole ass nation relaying on him winning for his country in the damn Olympics! Hmmm not going to lie I do believe I have a wonderful imagination, and having such a beautiful imagination makes me so charismatic~! Oh my I feel it I have self medicated my emotional instability has finally stabilized my ego is now A+! See I'm not narcissistic if I was it would be

"Wife did something good happen?" A timidly bashful voice whispers beside my ear. Turning my head to the left of me I see Harvey looking down at me with softness.

"How can I not be happy is the question? Do we already have everything packed and ready to go?"

As he open's his mouth to speak I feel a need to tease his seductive lips. With a swiftness I had not even noticed before I swallowed his little noises as moans spill. Slim yet strong arms wrap around me. Rosemary and mint so fresh yet delicate the taste so distinct yet soft. As our lips slowly began to move away I hear a little whine as a smirk befalls my face. Nuzzling my face as he purrs I notice a beautiful leopard tail wrap around my left thigh.

"Y-yes it's ready my wife~"

Soon a deep throaty laugh with a sultry voice fills the room from behind me.

"I just can't keep my eyes off you my little greedy mate for if I do I would unfortunately miss such wonderfully delicious expressions~" the ending sentence sounds like an undertone of a dark promise of sin as Curtis slithers my way muscles rippling in temptation.

Chuckles arise from Harvey as his eyes glaze over with the color of a lovely rose around his cheeks. "You are correct about that our mate is so very greedy, but on another note there is some sage and other herbs I must acquire from the bushes outside first before we leave, so I must leave for now but in 20 minutes we must be on our way" as Harvey continues to speak he leans down to kiss my left cheek as he nuzzles into me one last time. "Curtis will keep you company im going to take Quinn with me in case of any assistance I may need have fun my life" he leaves with his tail swaying gently in contentment as he hums a gentle melody.

Curtis watches as he leaves his eyes holding gratefulness and a lightness that makes him look far younger than what he is. Eyes connecting with mine he continues to descend upon me with slow yet steady movements. As he reaches my side he lifts me up taken off guard a small gasp escapes me.

"Don't be scared my greed for nothing shall harm you" now being able to look at him at eyes level I can't help but give him quick kisses all over his face.

" sorry my spiderlily I can't help it you are just so irresistible I love you so much I just really really am happy for everything even for that damn stupid gravity for bringing me to you that day I fell" Eyes widening in surprise almost like a childlike wonder he chuckles. " I can never get over that you know? The way you speak is so open so free and weird at times I must admit, but it's so purely you and that's what I see it's you and not a mask from the movement you fell upon that den you looked scared but it wasn't because of me it was like you knew I was there that wasn't the flicker of surprise, so I can only think you had planned or thought that it was supposed to be someone else"

Words spilling so fast I'm beginning to get whiplash as his eyes sharpen in memory. Only one true thought thumps repeatedly inside my head. Curtis is very intelligent and he will find out. Funnily enough that thought doesn't scare me, because I know that through it all no matter what I will say he could never leave me or hate me. Because thats just the type of men I have they are all fiercely loyal and loving. They can never come to hate me and that scares me a bit but it also warms my heart. He is still speaking but I can no longer fully hear him all I hear is my own voice whispering like a temptation of Aphrodite.

"Curtis I love you, I love you so much and I promise you the moment we arrive to the village I am going to show you in detail just how much I love you in sickness and health I will always cherish you forever"

Silence follows as his words die in his throat my hand lifts to his cheek as I wipe off his tears as they fall silently he leans his head towards mine gently words slip past his lips ever so light as he voice carries a fondness.

"I'll keep you to that promise my flame"

No one would ever realize he was weeping as he spoke nor would I if I did not witness this. I don't remember ever seeing him cry but I remind myself this has long since never been a story at least not anymore.

We spent time hugging each other so tightly wrap up in our embrace almost as if we were mending ourselves together. When one starts the other begin soon 20 minutes past then 10 more before noises were heard.

Quinn was speaking softly to Harvey about how some of the herbs would be interesting to experiment with some cuisine. Soon Harvey voice sounded louder almost jolly as he seems to speak more lively about how helping one immune system can be even better improve with food.

We are now all outside before I quickly thought of Sakura I mean sure he may come off as a bit demeaning but he wasn't a bad person, and I plan on eventually possibly having a merman mate in the future and he may help play as matchmaker. In other words I want to have good relations with him, so after I quickly notify my mates on me saying goodbye to Sakura before we set off to our soon to be new home well for now.

Finally reaching the waters I lean over as I wave my hand over the waters making ripples.

"Sakura it's me Ares I'm here to say bye before I leave"

Soon pink hair fills my vision as my eyes connect to his.

"You guys are finally leaving my special spot I see, well that's good just be careful on the road watch out for ferals"

Chuckling at his superior tone I find it cute how his words show concern along with his eyes.

"We will so should you too be careful after all I hope to see you in the future all in one piece"

A smirk claws its way through even though he first tried to fight it.

"Please I may not look it but I am powerfull and also if I am to see you in the future I do hope you find yourself some wealth after all you seem like a good person" his eyes seem to darken in thought as his eyes began to take on a calculated look.

"What is with you and wealth? Forget it I must go but bye and see you in the future may you find wealth as well" and with that I leave with a chuckle. Once I reach my husbands we hurriedly set off to our journey and to my fourth soon to be.
