Vincent sighed as he looked at the letter.
The letter has been sent about a month ago and he still hadn't told his relatives about being a half vampire, he only has 5 days to prepare.
but he still has to meet them the day prior to the wedding, so that's about 4 days left.
He sighed once more, getting up heading to the bathroom, washing his face and brushing his teeth,
" should I do the same thing...?" He questioned himself while going to his bed.
" well, at least I'm not pure blood," he said to himself, softly mumbling to himself, getting into bed and drifting to sleep.
The next morning
Davin woke up on His desk, on the plans he was working on, the wedding.
He got up and stretched and went on to his morning routine, preparing for the day.
He went out of his room and into the kitchen for breakfast, surprisingly, Vincent wasn't there
"..huh.." Davin said while turning his head, confused. But after a minute or two, he just went on with his routine.
He grabbed a mug and made coffee and breakfast, some jam and toast.
He finished up and put the dishes in the dishwasher. He headed to the living room as usual, for researching or winding down on his laptop.
The living room was Dimly lit, Davin walked to the bookshelf get his laptop.
He hummed, feeling weird as he sat down, laptop in hand, already on a tab.
" something's not right.." He said, looking around the living room, the house felt empty and hollow like there was no one.
Davin sighed, " Did Vincent go out or something...?" He thought out loud as he closed his laptop.
But little did he know that something was on the ceiling, an ominous shadow.
Davin looked up and- " AH! WHaT THe hECk?!" Vincent was hanging from the ceiling like a bat
" um.. sorry?" Vincent apologized, shrugging while still hanging on the ceiling.
Davin was still surprised and felt shocked
" WhY tHe-" he was about to shout but then paused and noticed something.
" wait a sec, how are you gonna get down?"
Davin asked, standing up and tilting his head.
Vincent Simply walked to an empty wall and went down, Davin watching confused yet astonished.
" A new ability?" Davin asked, still quite shocked but excited.Vincent walked over to the couch where Davin was now sitting."Hmm...yup..." He answered while holding something in his hand, the letter, Sitting down, the letter he had been looking at as he paced around the ceiling in his room.
Vincent looked at the letter then a concerned and worried look spread across Vincent's face.
' should I or should I not?' Vincent contemplated in his mind, ' ask Davin or not ask Davin...' He shook his head, finally making a choice.
" um, hey Davin, you know that I'm Korean, right?"
Vincent asked, the feeling of uncertainty rising up.
" Yeah, of course, I know" Davin expressed, aggrieved at the ask of it.
" well... my family's coming here for a wedding and.. I haven't told them about... you know."
Vincent explained, awkwardly smiling.
At this point, he and Davin were close friends.
" You could do what you did to me, improv."
Davin tried his best to advise, smiling warmly at Vincent.
Vincent subconsciously looked at Davin's lips then suddenly remembered the dream. he slapped himself.
Davin flinched a bit then tilting his head slightly, worry spreading in him then he thought of an idea.
" Um, if you want, I could come with you.." Davin suggested, smiling kindly but still awkwardly.
" um.. sure" he gave the letter to Davin, at the bottom was a card where it stated where the wedding would take place.
Davin's eyes suddenly lit up and smiled brightly
" I'm the one organizing this wedding!" Davin exclaimed, smiling ever so brightly.
" I still have to come, also your last name's Myung?" Davin said then asked.
Vincent smiled slightly, " yeah, it's my Korean last name, here it's Minnan."
" wait really??" Davin's eyes sparkled once more.
Vincent couldn't help but laugh at how excited Davin was about his last name, he tried to contain it but alas, it escaped from his mouth.
"Pfft-" he let out, but then giggled as his shoulders went up and down, still trying to contain it. He was visibly laughing.
As confused as a dog could be, Davin raised an eyebrow as he asked Vincent, " what is it?", confusion visibly on his face.
Vincent answered in between giggles,
" I never thought that - you'd be so excited - about my heritage or my - last name..!"
A second after processing it, Davin joined Vincent in laughing because it didn't really make sense, they both laughed for a solid ten seconds before Davin breaks it off, defending his point.
" Hey! I'm just invested in culture!" He half exclaimed and half laughed, smiling as bright as ever.
That sort of caught Vincent off guard, he stopped giggling to a halt, blushing a pink Vermilion- esque hue then smiled as well,
"well, I guess that makes sense" he responded to Davin, smiling a boxy smile.
A vibration waved from Vincent's pocket, a text.
