Five Temples

For a few years no sage could be seen and Sacred Land of sage lost the lineage of sages. Even though the Gods, Demons and other mysterious forces showed respect they never truly respected sages, they feared them. They were very proud and couldn't except someone to be superior to them. So when no yogis appeared for few years they attacked the Sacred Land of Sages together. Their idea was to eradicate all the mortals on the land. If there were no mortals then there wouldn't be any sages. The ancient Gods and Demons attacked together and destroyed most of the Sacred Land of Sages but there were 5 places that remained safe. Four places in the corners and one in the center and each contained one temple.

"Temple of Life"

"Temple of Death"

"Temple of Karma"

"Temple of Time"

And in the center was..

"Temple of Awakening"

Each place glowed with a mysterious light and all the Gods and Demons were thrown out from these places. Only someone of very weak bloodline remained in them. They separated from the mainland and disappeared. Even the supreme powers couldn't find out where the 5 places were.

Shiva and Pranay were shocked by the story because Sun Dynasty worshipped Temple of Life. What if this temple was the one from the Sacred Land of Sages. Then this whole world would just be a small part that vanished with the temple of life. And more importantly, whether the story was true or just pure fiction. They were so immersed in the story that as soon as it finished, they asked Aaroh if all the sages died overnight or had just disappeared to someplace unknown.

And," How does he know the story when there are no records of it? Who is he?"

Aaroh remained silent for some time and then he spoke," So you liked the story." Both of them came out from the story.

Aaroh explained," There are mostly mortals in this world and they are in the Mortal realm but some people are born with certain mystical powers they call themselves Mystics. They can also be categorized into 3 levels - low, intermediate and high. Even a low level mystic can easily threaten the top dynasties. According to them they are the descendants of Gods. Mostly they don't interfere in the mortal affairs and are very few in numbers. They found it beneath them to bother with mortals."

Prince Pranay already knew about these details but Shiva didn't.

Shiva thought, "Have I become a low level mystic, Am I a descendant of Gods or something different altogether?"
