"Darkness engulfed me as I became unconscious."

"I've never been knocked out like that before, I guess Do-yun was really that mad huh?

I'll have to apologize to him later."

In the corner of my eye, I spot something.

"A tiger?"

"Why am I dreaming about a tiger?"

I slowly approached it.

The tiger looked up at me.

I looked down at him.

He growls.

I glare.

He roars.

I continue glaring.

He bears his teeth.

I bear mine.

He moves his mouth as if he were smiling.

"I'm proud of you, boy"

A strong echoing voice comes from him.

"Proud of me? For what?"

I ask.

"You are fearless, I am glad I chose you as my vessel"

He responds.

"What do you plan to do with me?"

I question.

"Anything you want, my power is yours and only yours.

I am the great ancient tiger. I am not afraid of anything.

Not even the gods. I will grant you the power to fight even an army imbued with the souls of the ancient dragons. I am something that even the elder ancient monsters fear, I am the one who killed his master. The one who killed Báidì, I am the tiger that killed the great white dragon."

The great lion bellowed.

His aura just increased incredibly.

Emitting a powerful fiery essence on one side.

His appearance also changed.

Tigers are also supposed to be cunning, right?

We should analyse the situation to make the best decision.

For now, I should work on developing my abilities.

The one problem is that I need money to cultivate my skills.

Where can I get that?

"Hey, Tiger!"

I shout

"Come down here!"

The tiger appears before me

"What is it that you would like to know?"

"I just wanted to clarify, but you're an ancient power, that means I don't need to use money to cultivate my skills do I?"

The Tiger chuckled

"Interesting, so you are planning to use me, A godly power takes immense amounts of money to cultivate. However, as I am originally an ancient power, that negates all cost, now all you have to do is work hard and you'll be able to develop your skills."

I could see my eyes glisten via the reflection in the Tiger's eyes

"Say, the Contest of Powers is in six months, maybe I'll show off your power there. I'll spread your name, and cultivate both your godly essence and ancient essence so far that we will be able to stand toe to toe to even the gods."

The Tiger smirked

"Now this is really getting interesting,

I can't wait to start your training"

The pure light of life came back to me and I saw Do-yun above me.

"Hey, Do-yun, I'm joining the Contest of Powers"
