When I woke up, I was in a cage. I was shackled, my mouth was blocked by something and I couldn't move or speak. There were people moving forward the cage, and as we moved forward, the light coming from an exit intensified. Hope welled up in my heart, but only to be replaced with dissappointment. When we reached the light, I realized that it was just a bigger cage, with steel bars. The gaps between the bars were too little, I wouldn't be able to escape. as I looked forward, I saw an sleeping bear. They dropped my cage and opened it, but I feigned sleep, as I knew they were stronger than me, and I wouldn't be able to do much to them in shackles. When they left, the bars closed, as expected. Then, I sensed a wisp of energy flow through the shackles, and almost instantly, they fell down to the floor producing a metallic noise. The bear began opening his eyes, I saw a sword in the middle of the cage. "Inmate 472, this beast will be your food if you manage to kill it. Good luck." I imagined I would be his food if it killed me... I ran towards the center as the voice was talking, and with the thunderous voice, the bear's eyes snapped open and began to stand up. When I grabbed the sword, the bear had finally stood up. It had a height of around 3-4 meters, and it roared at me menacingly, but I begun running towards him. I wouldn't go through the same experience as I did with the rabbit. I dashed as I gripped my sword in revers grip and the bear began lifting its right paw. When I was at the right distance, it discharged its right paw towards me(center), making the body position it self towards its left, but it was useless. Somehow, I had been seeing all of its movements as if they were slowed down a little bit, maybe that was one of the soul severing effects? I didn't know. I rolled as I passed bellow the arm and I positioned myself in its back and slashed towards it, making full use of the reverse grip position. Blood splatered, and began leaking down its body, and finally falling to the floor, as its shriek of pain reached my ears as it tried to reach for the wound. I used the chance. With the sword still in reverse grip, I jumped to its back, stabbed three times, and then I slashed from the head to its butt, as blood fell down on my body. It staggered and fell to the floor, as a pool of blood began forming below its massive body. I had somehow slain that huge beast. Not long after that, gas began seeping into the cage. I accepted my slumber as I breathed the gas since I already knew I couldn't escape from it.
