Li Jun in Novice Rank

For years, video games had been dominating the technology nowadays. It seems like, these two subjects can be called as partners. Without technology, there wouldn't be video games. Without video games, technology would be boring.

With that, many video games were created, with only one goal in mind. To entertain its players. However, no matter how many different ideas and output were presented, there was only one game that really outshine them all. It was called Hero.

Hero is not just any other games. Hero was the first ever multiplayer online battle arena video game that was released six years ago. It intantly became a big hit due to its uniqueness from different games. On top of that, due to its popularity and its massive skilled players, the Pro-League was created one year later after its released.

Many clubs tried to reach the top but only few were given the chance. Without luck and most importantly skills, one can only dream of being a Pro-League member.

There were ten clubs who dominated the Pro-League. These clubs were usually the top competitors for the top one rank. There was no consistent top one rank, not until, Li Jun joined Divinity Domain and conquered the game for three years and even secured the MVP spot for three consecutive years also.

Many clubs feared him, including Extreme Domination. Ever since he showed up, no one could trample them down. No one.

Yet...

Right now, this deathly god is just working for his former enemy team unbeknownst to everyone's knowledge.

"Have you made a new built for the new heroes already?" Li Jun heard Xiao Mei's voice creeping up to him from few steps away. Li Jun temporatily halted reading the articles online to look at her, "No. I haven't touched these computers even."

"What? It's been days since you've been here and you still haven't made any thing?" Xiao Mei was totally disappointed. "So what have you been doing these days?" Xiao Mei glanced at his Ipad and was surprised to see what he was reading.

"Seriously? Reading these details? Are you a noob or something?"

Xiao Mei shook her head in disbelief. Instead of trying out builds for each hero, this guy was just reading the details and information about items and new heroes' history for days? Seriously?!

"Now I know why your club did not get to win over those years." Li Jun then pointed at the screen, "Don't you know that these information and their history can greatly affect the gameplay? Of course, each item's stats were shown easily but what about their deep details? For example, this item, most players used this for mage heroes but according to its information, this item should be used for physical damage dealers. So if you use it for mage heroes, what do you think is their effect?"

"It may give them additional stats as it has mage stats but if you read the details, it gives more damage when used with physical heroes. Do you get my point?"

Xiao Mei's mouth remained closed even after Li Jun spoke. It's not like she did not understand him but it was because he has a point. As Extreme Domination club's internal manager, it was her responsibility to check the progress and must observe the experimentalist works. She had noticed that their previous experimentalists were only focusing on gameplay and the stats shown when hovering the in-game items. Not even once had she seen them reading their details and everything connected to it.

"Then..."

"Sit down and watch."

Li Jun calmly scanned his new VIP card which was he bought days ago to the game's scanner and in just few seconds, the profile set up interface showed up. Without wasting anymore time, he honestly provided the information being asked until the remaining blank left was his gamertag. Unlike other players, instead of using fancy or badass names, he just used his complete name.

"Huh?!" Xiao Mei was confused, "Are you not afraid of using your own name? Those people might target you." Instead of using alias name and stay a low profile, he even dared to use his real name!

"Hmm..." Li Jun did not listen to her blabbering and just fixed his attention to the screen.

After he finished setting up his profile, he was brought to a tutorial stage. He instantly finished the tutorial in just few minutes and now, Li Jun chose to have a solo rank match. Since he just started, his rank at the moment was still Novice, same with the people he will be matched with. In order for him to reach higher ranks, he must win rank games.

This game has two teams set up and each team has five members. These players has the same goal in mind. And that is to win by destroying the enemy's core base.

Before the game had started, after matching up, each team will have the chance to pick their hero. There's only one rule at this rank. No hero can be used twice by the players. Once a hero was picked, it can't be picked by other players enemy or ally.

At this moment, Li Jun chose to use the most difficult hero in game. It was called Kira. This hero has male physical appearance with two swords on each hand. There are four swords in total in which it can be used when the ultimate has been activated. And it requires perfect timing in order for the player to use its ultimate or else, it will deem useless. The other reason why this hero was considered as the most difficult hero is also the fact that this hero moves alot. It can't stay. It ways bounces in the air. It highly requires the players to have flexible hands in order for them to move the hero accordingly. And not all can perform this. And as a matter of fact, only Li Jun was known to use this hero perfectly.

"Hey hey! Your name seems familiar! Are you the person that they call God of the Battlefield? Or are you just one of his fans?"

Li Jun read the message silently from one of his ally. It is common to the players that Pro-League members has many smurf accounts. Also, it is not surprising for fans to use their idol's names in making their own account.

"Try to guess..." Li Jun replied.

"Then you must be one of his stupid fans! Why use Kira at an early rank? Do you have death wish? Anyway, since you are just noob, just follow my instruction okay?"

Not taking the random guy seriously, Li Jun replied him with "Okay."

Meanwhile, Xiao Mei was in trouble. She did not know how to react to this random guy. She wanted to laugh but also to cry at the same time.
