Chapter 6
The next day the team got called together by the Boss. "We have a new job, it is to eliminate another noble, Jack you will be guarding Mine while she snipes the target. Lione and Lub will be eliminating the nobles hired expert mercenaries. The team nods in acknowledgement, "I trust you all but I'm going to send Wolf with you to make sure no one slips through." Jack adds. Lione gives a thumbs up while Lub just nods. "It will be tonight so all of you rest up and get ready. That is all." The team leaves and Najenda just gives a long sigh, for what reason only she knows.

That night the team is moving out, "Wolf, make sure there are no stragglers but let Lione and Lub do the heavy lifting." Jack says right before the teams split. Wolf just nods before running off with his group. Turning back to Mine, "Lets get this done." Mine just gives a humph like a spoiled princess before heading to her designated position. Jack just gives a sigh before following suite.
After reaching the position Jack and mine wait for the target to appear. When they finally see the noble Jack unsheathes Rinryuu and holds it an inch from Mine's neck. Just the bloodlust from his blade is more than enough danger for Mine's Pumpkin to be fully charged. {For those of you that don't know, Pumpkin is powered by how much danger the user is in, so Jack holding a blood thirsty blade to her throat is enough danger for it to almost explode!} After she fires Pumpkin a second later all you could see left of the noble was his lower half. For a few seconds no one near the dead noble could react, only when his wife screamed in shock and despair did the guards start to react. "Nice shot Mine. Now let's meet up with the others and get going." Mine doesn't respond and just slings Pumpkin over her shoulder and starts walking to the meet point. Jack just gives a dry laugh and sheathes his sword and starts walking.
Not long after the team meets up with each other, "D*mn that was fun got to crush some skulls, nothing beets crushing some skulls to let out some frustrations." Lione happily exclaims while flexing her bloody beast hands. {In case I forgot to mention to those of you that have never watched/read Akame ga kill; Lione's IA grants her a psuto-beast form that makes her hands get covered in fur and grow claws, she also gets a tail and ears, she resembles a lion, and her eyes become slits like a cat. Also, along with a physical change, her strength, speed, senses, and instincts are all amplified.} Mine gives her a look of disgust, "Ugh, such an unrefined way to fight, are you sure that all of your brains didn't go to your muscles and boobs?" Lione just laughs off the comment. Jack and Lub are just watching the girls with wry smiles knowing that they best not interrupt, to every ones' surprise suddenly Wolf threw a knife between the girls directed into the woods behind them. Unsurprised Jack ask, "How long were you going to let him watch Wolf?" Wolf just looks at Jack and says, [I did plan on killing him on our way out but when I saw him pulling out a sword I figured it would be best to go ahead and finish him, also I was getting tired of the girls arguing over such a stupid topic.] Jack just gives a laugh and pets Wolf on the head, he had long since noticed the left-over guard that had followed him back to the group, he figured that he would wait for him to act before killing him. The others turned to look at Wolf and Jack with shocked expressions. "Why didn't you say anything is you saw someone there?!" Mine shrieks. Jack just shrugs his shoulders, "He wasn't a threat and either me or Wolf would have killed him before we left." Lub and Lione just sigh. Lub then says, "Can we just go home?" Jack nods and starts walking with an unconcerned Wolf, tired Lub, and a frustrated Lione and Mine in tow.

The next morning all of Night Raid is woken up by hearing Wolf's howl that can be heard all across the valley. Knowing that it must be an ambush the whole team quickly gets up and rushes out. Jack splits off from the others heading toward Wolf.
When he got to Wolf, he saw him standing over five assassins, four male, one female. "I see that you have been busy, how many more are there?" [There are 13 more intruders, from what I can tell the others have handled the other 12 of them only leaving 1 for you. He is a quarter of a mile South-West from here and leaving the valley, I suggest moving quickly if you want to catch him.] Jack gives Wolf a nod before using his IA and dashing off in the direction of the intruder.
Not long after Jack sees the intruder running for his life, taking out Rinryuu he dashes forward and decapitates him. "Man, they weren't even worth the fuss, I should have just sent Wolf. I wonder when if I will ever meet someone that can force me to go all out." Giving one last sigh Jack burns the body of the intruder before running back to the others.
When he arrives, he sees Najenda dragging off Lub for a punishment, most likely because his wires didn't detect the intruders before Wolf did. Jack just gives another sigh before telling the others he is going back to bed.

That night at the capital a man that could be estimated to be in his mid-thirties could be seen holding a woman by the throat while a man assumed to be her spouse could be seen dying as his throat was slit before he could even fight back. The man was tall around 6' with messy blonde hair and crazed blue-green eyes, and ear covers, but the most notable thing was his Imperial arm Teigu/Spectator, it looked as if he had a third eye. While still holding the woman Zanku asked, "little lady will you do me a favor? Do it and I'll let you live." she gasped for air as she struggled to respond with, "Yes, yes, I'll do anything just don't kill me!" Zanku looked at her still with his crazed expression before asking, "Can you answer me a question?" "Yes, god yes, just ask and I will tell you anything you want to know!" the woman pleads. Zanku rubs his chin while thinking before finally asking, "What does it feel like to be a head without a body? Hum; no answer? Guess, it's hard to talk when you're dead! Bahahaha. Ah, what a perfect end to a perfect day." He yelled to the sky while still holding the woman's head.
