Explanations please?

I ask the man standing in front of me " Where am I?" The tall man replied in a calming voice," You are in the Void..." when I suddenly interrupted him and said, "What is the Void? Am I not on earth anymore?" The man said with a smile," Let me start from the beginning."

The man was about to start his story but first asks" Young man what is your name?" I replied, "My name is James." After hearing this he began his story," Welcome to the Void, James. This is a place that was made by that wooden mansion in "The Woods" and it's been here for 4.543 billion years." I quickly interrupted the man once again, "You mean that wooden house?" He replied, "Yes."

"But, I went into that house before and came back out," I said. He looked anxious. "That's strange, I'll look into it but for now back to the story." He continued where he left off, "The house created demons like the one that chased you to the cliff." When I nodded yes he continued the story," The house also made it so humans can live with the demons and everything was fine until about 9 million years ago when the house made three creatures, and they are the Tall Figure, The Hunter, and The One. These three beings were gods. The hunter commanded the Tall Figure to bring humans from the Human realm over here to this realm but whenever he did the human being would be in a coma in their realm but awake in this one. This happened until The One killed The Hunter and stopped this practice. Some people say that The Tall Figure still pulls people from the human world sometimes" I ask the man, "What happened to the The One?" He replied to me with a sad tone in his voice, "He died..."

I sit stock still, trying to process this new information in my head. After a while I ask the man two questions, "Who are you, and what was that voice in my head." He replied, "I am Cyrrus, 16 years old. Oh and that voice in your head was your powers awakening." I replied slowly, "Powers?!?" Cyrrus said this, "Yes, powers there is a ranking and groups we all are classified in with our powers."

God tier- 1-10 powers no limits the Three

Noble- 3-10 powers-limits

2nd tier- 2-3 powers-limits

3rd tier- 1 power but very skillful

No ranks- no powers- Normally have magical weapons

I said, "So those are the ranks but what are the types of powers?"

Concept: powers centered on an idea, allowing essentially any effect related to it.

Examples: Boundary Manipulation, Subjective Reality, Absolute Existence

Function: powers centered on what they do, usually specialized in relatively specific fields.

Examples: Creation, Destruction and most Manipulations

Mechanism: powers centered on the manipulation of immanent laws of reality.

Examples: Physics Manipulation, Virtual Warping, Causality Manipulation

Source: powers centered on its origin (usually supernatural) allowing a variety of applications.

Examples: Magic, Supernatural Dominion, Divinity, Lordship abilities

Unfathomable: powers without actual cause/mechanism, defined as beyond understanding.

Examples: Logic Manipulation, Metapotence, Author Authority

These are the tier and groups our powers are put into," said Cyrrus.
