CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO (22) The Most Hygienic Human

"I was watching you... you and sir earlier and you are... you're the alpha! Hahaha!" Her giggles stunned both Rose and Su Yuanqi.

Rose was first to react. "You're so smart...haha."

"I think you're misunderstanding us..." Su Yuanqi wanted to clarify her but the waitress assured her it was okay.

"It's fine, i totally understand..." she continued to giggle as she strode away with the tray.

Rose resisted bursting into laughter. "I'm going to tip her before I leave."

"That's offering bribe..."

"Shut up." Rose eyed him dangerously. "You don't even know if she's being paid enough for her services."

"Miss Chen not everyone is used to luxury like you are..."

"We all can get to enjoy the type of life we want... just work smarter not harder."

Su Yuanqi drank the water the waitress had just brought.

"So do you agree to working together?" Rose mood switched to a professional business type instantly.

"Why should I agree to working together?" He raised an eyebrow at her. "What is there to gain?"

"Everything," She raised her glass to cheer at Su Yuanqi. "Let's give it a try, cheers to being business partners."

He watched her with a solemn face, then asked. "And if I disagree?"

"Why you do you always have something to say?" She asked. "Do you enjoy chatting with me, that much?"

Rose continued. "We will meet more in the future for business purpose. So you won't have to miss me too much."

Su Yuanqi snorted. "Do I look like I want to be seen with you in anyway?"

"Mr Su, let's work together... hmm?"

He said nothing this time.

"We will make a great team."

"I have a problem with you though," he narrowed his eyes at her. "How do you expect us to work out?"

"We are all looking for a way to make ends meet, to have a better future and not fight business opportunities because we might have indifferences."

He looked away from her with an eye roll.

"You are a man but acting more like a woman."

"Miss Chen, you destroyed all my properties... and you simply want me to forget it all? How? Maybe if you can explain then I'd be willing to strike a deal with you."

"Don't call me Miss Chen, drop the honorific."

Su Yuanqi picked up his wine glass and started sipping.

"I'm sorry,"

His quick head spin and facial expression revealed shock.

"Yes, I'm sorry for whatever you think I did..."

Su Yuanqi moved his lips to the left then right.

"Actually, none of your material was destroyed. We took it all out before the building was pulled down. Also I had found out too late that you owned that space, Mr Song told me the restaurant was abandoned by it's owner. So I thought it was a great opportunity to start up a restaurant business since there had been one before, I wouldn't have to beg for customers... Now that I know you own it, we could build a five star restaurant while selling it for cheaper prices, take outs and delivery will also be available. Both the rich and poor will have access to us! And within a year, we would have covered up all the expenses."

Rose lengthy explanation, made Su Yuanqi's expression go from I don't care to really then finally settled at wow.

The more surprising part was when she mentioned they had moved his properties out and also when Mr Song was mentioned.

"Mr Song said that to you?" He still had doubts.

"Yes, I have his voice recorded on my cell phone." Rose waved her phone at him. "I went back to ask after I found out you owned it. I saved it for future purpose. Who would have thought it won't take long?"

The veins on Su Yuanqi's temple swelled.

"Mrs Song also made mention of you being irresponsible and disrespectful."

He wasn't surprised by Mrs Song's comment, she could go around blasting him for a reason no one would understand but himself. But for Mr Song? How could he?

"So you see? You're suing the wrong person!"

"Why should I believe what you say?" He still had a look of disbelief.

Rose snorted. "You think I'd make it all up? For what? To avoid the court case? No, no. I don't think you understand but I'm not scared of anyone. Also I only agreed to meet with you because my attorney begged me to. If you don't believe me, it's fine. We will meet in court then."

"Play the voice record."

"Why should i trust you enough to play my evidence?"

Su Yuanqi, Zero. Rose one.

"You should go gather your own evidence, instead."

Su Yuanqi facepalmed. "Are you okay?"

"Sure."

"If you want me to agree then you'd have to play it."

Rose didn't think to come up with a reply. "Don't give me conditions."

"Then why are you making me an offer?" Su Yuanqi didn't like her carefree altitude.

"It's to save you and prepare you for a brighter future."

Su Yuanqi hissed.

"Hey!"

"I'll think about it."

Rose didn't know how to reply to that, so she kept shut.

"What?" He popped his eyes at her.

Rose scratched her head. "Does that mean we have an agreement?"

"No? I haven't agreed yet. I said I'd think about it."

"Give me a reply as early as tomorrow morning then."

"Don't command me."

"Have your dessert." Rose pointed at the plate of dessert. "But do you mean it that you can't really cook?"

"You have never tasted anything from Urban remedy have you?"

"Have you ever seen me in a local restaurant?" She fired back.

"This shows how gullible you are!"

"Hmm?"

"The name says, Urban. `Urban'."

She rolled her eyes at him. "Forget about that. Let's make more profits in the future."

"Just profit?" He wanted to know. "I hope you know what hygiene is?"

"If hygiene was human, it'd be me. If it was something to be bought, I'd have the highest purchase."

"You have a bad way of talking."

"Thank you."
