Contract With The Earl

Reader's P.O.V

You groaned out of pain. AGAIN.

You slowly opened your eyes and adjust it to the brightness of the area. After you did, you roamed your eyes around and sat in the bed in confusion. It looks like you were inside in some servant's room, those rooms that was used in the late European era once.

"Wait." You said, eyes widening.

You abruply touch your body to tell if something was wrong.

"No scratches, check. No blood, check. No wounds, check. And I still have my clothes on! Double check!" You happily sighed as your hand flew towards your forehead.

But soon, your eyebrows almost knot because of confusion. Your head felt lighter like a feather, yet at the same time you somehow attained some new informations. Somehow, you knew how to control this things that surround you moments ago---black smoke-flames was it?---but nevertheless, you just shrugged that thought way. It's not like you really want to use it after the pain you felt earlier. Goodness, you thought you really died back there. Maybe it would take some little bit of time before you finally use it. With all the pain you felt and---

"You're finally awake, I see."

"Gyaa!"

You abruptly retreated on the corner of the bed in surprise. You turned to see Sebastian, with all the means was smilling, which look like quite warm and real. Wait. You shrugged away that last part. Sebastian smile is always like that remember? That damn close-eyed smile of his. Curse him with his gorgeousness! Oh wait. Now that you think about it, it looks like he was there long before you were awake. A sudden chill ran down to your spine.

"Goodness, I thought it was some ghost." You muttered, then cleared your throat.

'Just act your way through this Y/N', you thought.

"Who are you?" You asked, pretending you didn't know him.

Well...

Rule No. 1 In Surviving Anime Life Hacks (ISALH); YOU must pretened you didn't know the characters. It will cause you pain in the butt someday.

Sebastian's smile grew wider as he walk towards you, standing in front of the bed majestically.

"My name is Sebastian. Sebastian Michaelis." he said then opened his eyes to look at you. "May I know the name of this lovely femine?"

Your jaw dropped at his sentence.

Lovely femine? You? Oh goodness, you would have blushed if you were still a girl. Luckily though, now your a BOY. And that my friend, will always be the same.

"I am sorry but you must mistaken me from a female, Sebastian." You said, acting like you were actually chuckling. "By any other means, I'm Y/N L/N and I'm very much likely a fellow man."

"I apologize Mr. L/N." he said, bowing on the progress. But his tone didn't really seem, well, sorry. "Well, now that your awake, my master wishes to see you immediately."

"Oh." Is all you could say.

You knew that Ciel would likely want to ask some questions. That's understandable. Well, probably because you were in the Phantomhive manor? Maybe. But still, thank goodness you were transported in here. You would very much not like to go to that bratty Alois household. Who knows what will happen right? Your thoughts wandered to many question so you quite know how long you were inside your mind. Your eyes landed again to Sebastian, who, in return was also absent-mindly staring at you with his black orbs.

Ciel cleared his throat.

"I am Ciel Phantomhive, the owner of this estate that your in. Now, why are you found inside my manor?"

You we're inside Ciel's study room. With you just standing in front in his table, and Sebastian standing on his right side, which is by the way, that one hell of a butler is still staring at you like he wanted to devour you. You gulped. You hope your thinking wasn't true.

"I apologize if I did intrude your manor, young master. But even myself do not know why am I have been inside your manor." You said, with all your might like any other people that are still living in this type of era. You silently thanked your best friend for teaching you how to act on this, or to be specific, on our play once.

Ciel raised his right eyebrow.

"Why is that?"

"I believe I cannot answer your question. Yet, if you agree in one condition, I would very much consider it." You were surprised because those words just left your mouth. "If you agree that I will serve you as long as you live, I, in return will also answer your questions regardless on what it is."

Okay, maybe Rule No. 1 didn't actually exist.

You hope.

"Are you saying that you want to enter a contract with me?" Ciel asks, doubt forming in his piercing blue eyes.

"Exactly." You said, putting your hand on your hoodie's pocket and let out a single coin. "Don't worry young master, I won't take any other condition except serving you as long as you live. I guarantee that I won't take your soul unlike that demon standing on your side."

Both Sebastian and Ciel seemed to be petrified for a moment, before the young master narrowed his eyes at you.

"How do you know he's a demon?"

"Any other being that is not normal would immediately identify who's who." You said, playing the coin in your hands. "Unfortunately for me, I happened be one of those beings."

You stopped then smirked.

"So? Do you agree or disagree? I do hope you agree young master, because things will be fun that way."

You waited till they finally react.

Ciel seems to reconsider your offer, his brows almost knotting together, then finally he sighed in defeat.

"I have considered your offer." he said, piercing blue eyes looking at you. "I will let you be my servant but if you ever, as in ever betray me, consider yourself dead."

"Rest assured young master, my loyalty only rests in your hands." You said, placing your right hand in your chest and bowed.

You felt the power running inside your veins, waiting to be let out. You felt the warmth of the flame inside you, warming you, fueling you like boiling fire inside a cage. Black-smoke flames arised from your body and formed a great amount of chains with the same appearance. It flew with the speed of light and locked your neck on a metal collar before attaching the other end on the left wrist of Ciel Phantomhive.

"What in the bloody world is this?" Ciel asked, mentioning the chain that had been attached on his left wrist.

"Our contract." You said, your E/C eyes burning with its bright color. "Now I'm officially your servant, my master."

Like a shattered glass, the chains disappeared into nothingness as you stood straight again. Your eyes landed at Sebastian, who in return was silently amazed, yet he still kept his mouth shut.

Ciel cleared his throat.

"Now, tell me who you are and where the hell did you came from. That's an order." he said sternly.

"Gladly." You said, performing a close-eyed smile. You don't know but it seems that the almighty Ciel have blushed a bit.

'Uh..just my imagination. Yes. Definitely my imagination.', you thought, shrugging it out of your mind.

"My name is Y/N L/N, young master. You might not believe it, but I am not from this world. Your world is only a fragment of mine." 'A fragment of imagination to be specific', you thought. "You can think of it as another dimension. Another reality. Another life. Yet at the same time, my world is different. Very, very different from yours."

"I see." Ciel, nodded. "That explains the black hole earlier."

You tilted my head slightly.

'Black hole? Does he mean that damned door?'

"Are you really a human?" Sebastian asked, his brow slightly raised as he smirked, snapping you out from your thought.

You performed that same smirk he had.

"Maybe." You said.

"Sebastian." Ciel called, mentioning you at him. "Teach him the proper way to be a Phantomhive servant. Now begone, I need to be alone."

Sebastian bowed at him.

"Yes, my master."

Soon, both you and Sebastian were outside. Both of you walked through the halls as Sebastian tells you the location and information of each individual room. The Do's and Don't's of cleaning. Well, you get the point. You tried so hard not to yawn. Good thing  you were only facing Sebastian's back or else you might experience his angry side, which is a bad sign because you were only a new one here.

"Do you understand all that I've taught you?" Sebastian asked, facing you again.

You immediately stood straight and nodded, whipping away the sleepiness you felt just seconds ago. It dawned to you that you were already in the servants room, in front of the room that you woked up in.

"Good. Now, I'll wait till you get change... with that clothes of yours." his eyes traveled at your body, looking at your unusual clothes. "The clothes that you will use are already inside your room and---"

There was a loud bang of explosion echoing through the halls. Both of you turned towards it's direction, confused on what was happening inside the mansion.

"It came from the kitchen." You said, turning to a now frowning Sebastian.

'Maybe it was Bard, I remember that he tried using the flamethrower on episode 1.', you thought.

"Those are probably the other Phantomhive servants." he said, smilling grimly as his brows twitch in annoyance. "Well then, it looks like I need to leave for now. I expect you to get you ready in a moment. Now excuse me, I got other things to attend to."

In a sudden swift of a hand, Sebastian finally disappeared within your sight as you were finally left alone in front of your new room.

"Oh boy, they will get a beating." you chuckled, shaking your head.

Soon, you entered the room and closed the door behind you. Your eyes landed on the butler uniform that was laying at your bed, before you sighed and ran your hands on your H/C hair. Everything seems to be running quite fine, yet also, quite quickly. You wondered how and why the heck you were transferred into this world. Did you die in your sleep? Definitely not. You were healthy and you didn't drank any poison. Or is this all just a dream? You pinched your cheek again.

'Nope, it felt real. Quite too real for a dream.', you thought.

Or somehow... is this all real? Were the people here are really real? You hope they are. You felt your heart beats faster than usual as your thoughts wandered to a single being. Sebastian. Is he real too?

You sighed.

"I wonder which episode I'm in." you muttered, walking towards your bed and held the butler uniform to change.

Seconds passed and you are finally dressed.

You held your former clothes in your hands, caressing your hoodie before putting it inside the closet. Unfortunately, there was only a single coin and a necklace inside your clothes. One that you have found inside your hoodie pocket earlier while the other one is in your trousers, other than that, there was nothing more. The necklace was gifted to you ever since you were born. It looked like an antique-looking silver key with a simbol of a moon on the center. You never knew who gave it to you or neither did you ever wondered whom. You were happy enough that it was with you.

You held the necklace tightly before putting it on your neck and hiding it inside your uniform.

"Well, time to meet the others." you said, before disappearing inside your room.

Though, you never realize someone was watching you far, far away from the humble Phantomhive manor.

The Undertaker smiled.

"Finally, we will meet again Y/N."
