"Marguerite."
A voice floats in the empty darkness where Marguerite peacefully sleeps. She vaguely hears it but cannot bring herself to respond, too tired.
She is no longer sick, her pain is gone. Her sadness and anger seem meaningless now, it all feels so trivial. Is this what death feels like? She doesn't hate it.
The peace gets broken by an annoying voice again. Who's calling her? Hopefully he or she gives up soon. She doesn't want to talk to anyone, she just wants to stay peacefully here forever. Here nothing matters and nothing can hurt her. She has always been a bit of a coward, and no doubt selfish to the core, however she is too scared of pain to ever change her ways even if she wants to.
"Marguerite."
...
"I know you can hear me."
...
"A man called Brennus is possessing your body."
Marguerite reacts slightly to the sudden information.
