The new bard 2

Marguerite looks at Armel with a pleading look, her puppy eyes difficult to look away from.

"Please Armel."

He starts to sweat, how could he say no to that? Calling out his name so informally, is she doing it in purpose? Does she realize her effect on him?

He sighs resignedly and Marguerite's eyes light up with hope, she smiles and brings her hands together with even more intense eyes looking at him.

"Let me think about it."

Armel doesn't agree so easily. Who knows if he's letting a wolf into his house? Wolves are known to be unscrupulous robbers, this one might want to rob his precious wife.

Marguerite isn't given the chance to plead more and has to go back to her room. Armel goes to contemplate on the throne alone, his face scrunched up in ponder.

In any case, he doesn't need to be scared of a peasant man, he might as well agree and prove a point to this bold nuisance while he's at it.

"Summon the bard to the royal court."
