The man sitting in front of her looked at her in her eyes as he placed his hand on his chin stroking the imaginary beard who looks like in his late 50's had salt and pepper hair and dark black eyes and sharp features despite his old age making people think how handsome he might be in his young age and every little hope Aadvika had regarding the person behind the doors has shattered the movement the she saw this person.

"Professor" Aadvika called him more like enquiring him whether the person infront of her was the person she thought he was

"How are you, my child?" he asked her as he looked her so tenderly and with lot of love and warmth in his eyes that others might think that he was speaking with his biological granddaughter

"Professor what are you doing here" Aadvika asked him as she closed the door behind her stood infront of him just behind the chairs placed opposite to him

"I mean why are you here you should be in America at this movement right" Aadvika changed the sentence after thinking that it sounded little rude to ask

"I was a doctor Advika and getting old too so I took voluntary retirement 6 months back and came here to teach the students the knowledge I gained from my whole life experiences"

"so how is the campus, have you adjusted to the surrounding and have you made any friends I heard that you are being too quiet not speaking with anyone" Ronin asked her to change the subject from him to her

"How come you came to know that I joined in the university, don't tell me that you know it from the start" Aadvika asked him little surprised knowing that he already knew about her stay here

"Of course, I know that you are going to join in this university because your brother Dakshith consented me before making the decision to join you in this university" he told her and said her to sit first as they had lot more to discuss and asked her if she would like to join for lunch as it is already time for meals

"No thank you I already told my friend to take additional tray of food for me she will be waiting for me at Cafeteria"

"alright so now can we go to question-and-answer round?" he asked her as he became serious as he spoke

"what do you want to know" Aadvika asked him as she know that there is no escape till, he was satisfied

"Why did you join the military when you had such a wonderful life ahead of you?"

"What! A wonderful life you say" Aadvika told him but looked more like sarcasm in her voice as she looked at him without any emotions in her face or in her eyes

"don't try to change the subject Aadvika you know what I mean when I said you had a wonderful life how can you even think of joining in such a profession which is quiet opposite to your profession back then or have you forgotten your profession after being in army for more than 3 years"

"of course, I remember it, how can I forgot who I am and what consequences it led after taking that path in my life, now thinking about that I regret a lot that I had chosen such a profession that I tried to forget about it for the past 3 years but everyone around me tries to remind me of who I am and what I should do"

"You are a doctor Aadvika even if you hate being one that will never change the movement you have chosen that path and a doctor will never kill another person no matter how serious the situation is he always tries to save the people around him but you to escape that path you choose to do something which is totally opposite to what you need to you

If you have chosen to give up on that profession then you might have taken some other path you might have become an engineer, architect, chef, business woman like how you have chosen to join the university to become a successor of your family business you might have done that at that time when you thought to give up but why Military of all the choices you had"

"Me becoming the successor of my father legacy and helping my brother to expand it will not happen in this lifetime and about me joining in university I was simply doing it so that I can have some alone time out of all those prying eyes who monitor me 24hrs and if you want to know the decision, I made to join in military I made it after careful consideration and I will never regret making that decision"

"Why does it feel like the person who was standing in front of me was someone who was unknown to me? It was definitely not the Aadvika I know. You have changed a lot" Ronin told her he looked at the girl sitting infront him as a stranger and the warmth and love which he had when she entered the room were completely gone after speaking with her

"And you were the one who changed me professor the Aadvika in the past was dead because of you and I was glad for that and I agree that I was a doctor but it was not the profession that I choose for myself, I never wanted to be a doctor"

"But you are a talented and well-known doctor so why sacrifice it just because you didn't choose it."

"Yes, and the occupation which I had chosen on my own was snatched away from me so what's the point in discussing those matters now."

After listening to that Ronin don't know how to continue the topic anymore and what to say to change her mind just then the attender came inside saying that it was time for lunch and if he would like to have his meals

Aadvika took her leave without waiting for a second telling him to enjoy his meals and she would not like to waste any of his time on insignificant matters
