Chapter 24

Emily is walking down the corridor, on the way to the Infirmary. She knows exactly why she had been called over.

She arrives and slides the door open to reveal Docter InSaen. Looking as tired as ever.

"Please sit down..." Docter InSaen grumbles the command. Emily sits down on the rusty, old leather chair.

Docter InSaen presses some buttons on his monitor.

"You know why I called you here, right?" He asks.

Emily nods.

"Well as you are fully aware, I need to keep checking on your condition." He goes back to his monitor.

He takes some wires and places on Emily's Life Charge Soft Spots.

Silence.

After 3 minutes, Docter InSaen takes off the wires and prints off 2 identical analytic pages. One for Emily, one for Docter InSaen.

"Looks like you're fine...for now." So you can go." Docter InSaen says, still looking at Emily's results that are in his hands.

Emily nods as she stands up and walks out the room, thinking about the many cups of coffee she saw in the Infirmary and hoping that, that won't affect him in any way.
