Chapter 30

I'm back again! Woohoo it's another informative author's note and this time it's about Jobs!!!

In Aztec you are able to work, just like in our world. Though of course how it works is different. The youngest age you can work in Aztec is 5 years old! Want to know why? It's because the kids are taught to be independent and hard working but don't worry...you get paid good money and the jobs are fun!

1) The Jobs and least/most you can earn

For now, there only 8 jobs that I have spurred together to show you. In Aztec, the jobs are different to suit the world, for example the job of being a Wizard. Boys and girls can apply to be in this role however, to be a Wizard there is an age restriction. Here are the jobs and their ages:

- Wizard = (12) 14 - 120

- Shop Tender = 8 - 60

- Technologist = 15 - 135 (140)

- Teacher = 30 - 80 (100)

- Nursery Maiden/Buteris = 5 - 30

- Butler = (15) 18 - 115 (130)

- Neutrologist = (18) 30 - 140

- Artist = (10) 15 - 150

( ) = The parenthesis (brackets) are the possible allowances of starting/ending years due to age/experience.

As you can see there are different age restrictions for different jobs and the youngest age you can work in a job is a nursery maiden/buteris.

But you want to know what the companies pay the employees, right? (or not)

So here are the jobs - again - and the least/most you can earn from them:

- Wizard = £300 - £500 *p/d (600Z - 1000Z)

- Shop Tender = £20 - £50 *p/d (40Z - 100Z)

- Technologist = £150 - £350 *p/d (300Z - 700Z)

- Teacher = £50 - £150 *p/d (100Z - 300Z)

- Nursery Maiden/Buteris = £10 - £50 *p/d (20Z - 100Z)

- Butler = £100 - £300 *p/d (200Z - 600Z)

- Neutrologist = £200 - £400 *p/d (400Z - 800Z)

- Artist = £100 - £500 *p/d (200Z - 1000Z)

NOTE: *p/d = per day

These wages look pretty pricey huh? XP

2) Times you can work + how much

Since, I already told you that there are 30 hours in a day, I must tell you what times you can work and for how long.

You can only work 7AM - 28 PM but of course you can't work ALL day. For each job you can only work a certain amount, the shortest being a job like a shop tender with only 5 hours a day and the longest so far being 8 hours with a job like a Butler however, there are jobs that can be flexible like a Teacher or an Artist.

3) Why companies pay employees a day?

The high demand of money has increased over the years and employees want money for their work or they sue the employers. That is why, to save the court case, employers pay employees a day to save the hassle. Besides, it is one of the Universal Laws.

But anyway, if you have any questions or ideas for new/different jobs, don't hesitate to tell me.

Thanks for reading~
