Dear Diary,
We got a new kid here in this 3 x 3 square living space. The name is Joe, he said. Should be as old as me, but not as tall as me. And of course, I'm much more handsome as well.
Anyway, we found this kid hiding inside a small cave that used to be called "building". His body was painted red. You wouldn't even know he is alive if you didn't see his eyeball rolling left and right. And even then, we still thought he is a freshly cooked corpse.
It's not funny, I know.
Back to the topic again. So we found this little kid, brought him home and cleaned him from the death smell he had been wearing.
It was really really really hard to convince him that YES WE HAVE A HOME, albeit it's only 3 x 3 square of room, but hey, at least we get ourself a concrete wall and a proper roof.
By the way, cleaning him was a pain in the ass. Those blood already harden like his second skin, and washing him off of those makes his skin grow red. I thought I peeled it off when I washed him. Thankfully the skin is still intact.
But washing him wasted so much of our water. That's a week worth of water, mind you. And I don't even know how am I supposed to get more water later. Last I checked, the river has turned red instead of the usual green to blue color.
I wonder if those people know that we need water to keep living in this world. Maybe they didn't learn Biology at school. They might have been learning how to shoot more than how to stay alive. Or their "how to stay alive" is to "shoot" people.
I hope it'll snow or rain. We need water.
And more food.
Do you know that the kid ate like a pig?! He ate so much that our stock of food was cleaned in a blink! Even if there are only three loaves of bread. THREE LOAVES. Those are our food for a day!
Does he know how scarce food is here? I doubt we have anything to eat tomorrow. I have never eaten three loaves of bread in a single meal. I should have known that taking him home will be a disaster for us.
I'm not worried about myself. I'm more worried about my little sister. She is still young and needs a lot of food to grow up. What if she gets a stomachache from hunger?!
Oh, I have never told you about my sister, have I?
My cute little sister is the most adorable human in the world! No, in the whole universe! She has the most dazzling smile I've ever seen that even the gloomiest day turn bright when she smiled.
And she always hugs me when I back home. That hug is the warmest blanket I've ever get in my whole life. You need to know that she is a treasure, how can I let her be hungry?! If I can't even protect her, I can't be called a man!
