Dear Diary,
I think we have reached the peak of the war. I heard our troops have advanced closer to the enemy's area. The bombing in our area has stopped. I'm not sure whether this is good news or is this some kind of traps that the enemy laid out.
But from what I heard, it's not as if our country is at the losing end. Because there are some troops that have advanced to the enemy territory. It's just that because we are on the borderline of two countries that the battle is so chaotic.
It's true that we have always been near the battlefield. Oldbourne was the nearest town toward the enemy country, Winterdale too. It's just that Winterdale located a little bit farther than Oldbourne, but still is located on the outskirt of our country.
I just hope that it'll stop soon.
By the way, it's almost spring. This year's winter season was the most horrible winter season I've ever had. You know why? My old twisted ankle suddenly aches so badly. It's painful enough that I need to see the doctor and asked him to look at it. When he knows that I fractured my bones last year, he told me that maybe it's the cold weather.
He explained to me the mumbo jumbo about it, but I can't remember much except that cold weather always makes injuries hurt more and sometimes even makes old injuries ache. And only now I know why my twisted ankle hurt so much last year. Because it was also winter season at that time!
And I thought the fracture bones was the reason... Well, maybe it is one of the reasons, but apparently winter season also contributed to the pain. And now it's aching again! I literally can't walk around without a hot pack on my ankle, and you know how cold winter is, right? Because my hot pack is only boiled water, the heat can't last that long. I need to change the water, again and again, maybe every hour.
It was the most annoying season ever. Thank goodness that the doctor understood my condition, so he helped me treat that ache as well. I feel guilty for adding him more work to his already a mountain high of work.
