"Great. Because fate was destined to bring us together dearest Queen Lilia." My eyes widened at the name used. I let out an animalistic growl.
"How in the world did you know that name." I grabbed his collar and pulled it closer. My sky blue eyes stared into his with no hesitation. He snapped his fingers, bringing out the same document.
"It has your name of course. I only blocked it out last time." My eyes scanned the report and indeed it was the same report he had given. There were some black boxes thay covered the name. I used a small flame to burn off the ink.
And true enough, the ink burned off and it showed my name. My hands holding the paper tightened, almost crushing it. I looked up at him to see a smug face.
"Of course, when Autumn stood onto the arena. And I saw the magic, it was immediately you. Nobody was that flashy enough to make sparks." I let out an annoyed sound and burned the paper. I grabbed his collar again and hissed at him.
"Spill the name and I'll burn the whole entire world. Got me?" He gave me a nod of little significance and I threw him back into his seat.
The tournament went on as per normal, no interesting matches. I sighed and slumped in my seat, wanting this to end quick. The announcer turned towards us, giving an ending speech for today.
"The first day of the Tournament has ended. We have viewed spectacular matches and they were splendid. We would like to thank the King and Queen for staying here throughout this whole match!"
I realised everyone was looking at me and Raymond. I immediately sat up and waved at them, copying what Raymond does.
"I would like to remind you that I hate you to the very core." I stood up and walked right out once the thing was done. I snapped my fingers again, broom appearing in my right hand. I hopped onto the broom and headed for a place.
That place was a small lake surrounded by trees and flowers. The water was like crystal, see through and shining from the sun. I took off my shoes and socks, soaking them into the crystal water.
Small pebbles shining in the water, as if they are treasure. I stood in the water, lifting my skirt so it doesn't get wet. The water level soon reaching mid-thigh and I stopped. I looked around, surrounded by the shining pebbles.
However, something caught my eye. The shine so bright that it out shined the water and pebbles. I walked over to the object. My hands went into the water and scooped it, caring less about my uniform.
It was a beautiful crystal. A selenite maybe. It was in shape of a Lily earring. White crystals usually meant freedom, hope, purity and innocence. Maybe this was a sign, to change for the better.
I took out one of my golden earrings, replacing one with the crystal earring. It shined brightly with the sun light. A pretty sight as it makes a small rainbow. I clutched the earring in my hand tightly.
"Mama and Papa... I may not be a filial daughter, but I will try my best to not fall towards temptation. Please do wait for me." My tears slowly rolling down my face as my voiced cracked for the last bit.
I went back to my original spot and laid on the soft grass while my feet are still in the water. I looked up into the blue sky, decorated with white clouds. I missed the times where I would joke around and be the little me.
"Mama and Papa.. Are you seeing the view I'm seeing now? I wish I could share this view with you guys. I miss you so terribly much..." I held my hand up, summoning a small fireball.
The colour was a bit more gray in comparison of my white flame. The previous black swirls have become more bigger as the white slowly starts to fade into nothing. I sighed as a suppressed the urges to give in.
The once decorated sky was now clear and the sun was shining right into my face. I let myself fade into sleep, tired from today's events.
By the time I woke up, I saw an animal looking down at me. Prettiest animal. It's fur white coating along with sky blue eyes. Its beautiful eyes stared me down, deep into my soul. The wolf then gently licked my hand, as if it was trying to cure my bruises.
I gently laughed and saw the mark of the moon on it. These types of animals were rare, they were magic pets that only choose their owners. The ones with the mark of the moon was even more rare. These marked animals had a lot of magic potential.
"You want to be my pet?" The wolf continued licking my hand and showed me what is supposed to be a grin. I gently placed a kiss on the nose bridge of the wolf, a small magic circle appearing.
"From today onwards, you shall be named Kaala. Child of the moon." The wolf gave me a nice bark and we gave a nice cuddle for a while.
I have seemed to fall asleep for a second time. This time when I woke up, Kaala was softly snoring next to me. The sky was now orange in colour as the sun began to set. I gently shook Kaala, waking her up. She gave me a lick before following me back home.
"Kaala, come into my earring." I tapped the earring I found not too long ago. Kaala minimized herself into magic dust and went inside of my earring.
"I will bring you out when we reach home. It'll be fast." I picked up my broom and set off for home.
