Now, she hunts the very monsters that hunt others. She's untraceable until she runs into Alec, the Underworld's notorious leader who doesn't seem to be quite human. Things aren't as they seem though, as Maya is pulled into a twisted fate. Maya now has to run from the Underworld boss who wants her as his own and a mysterious hacker who seems to have it out for her. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Silent Hacker

We continue to walk in the tunnel but I'm finding harder and harder to see even with my better eyesight. I come to a stop when I suddenly hear something. Remi and Chip also come to a stop looking around us.

They had heard it as well... when we hear something again we all turn in deferent directions. The tunnel with multiple holes leading to other tunnels, made everything echo. The noise was bouncing around us making it nearly impossible to tell where it was coming from.

When I hear rocks falling behind us I quickly turn around but I see nothing but a few loose rocks. I take a step back and bump into Remi's large, bare back. He reaches out and gently grabs my arm as he continues to look around us.

Chip's hair on his back was standing straight up as he silently listens. Something was down here with us and it moved quickly... too quickly for the fat worm. I strain my eyes and ears in an attempt to see what it was... I felt like it was checking us out.
