Maya is not your typical hacker. Ten years ago, her only living family was killed in cold blood. The killers make her take the fall but after ten years in prison, she's become stronger. Now, she hunts the very monsters that hunt others. She's untraceable until she runs into Alec, the Underworld's notorious leader who doesn't seem to be quite human. Things aren't as they seem though, as Maya is pulled into a twisted fate. Maya now has to run from the Underworld boss who wants her as his own and a mysterious hacker who seems to have it out for her. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Silent Hacker

Several days pass and I still have a damn headache... I grit my teeth as I rub my temples. I had hoped that the headache would have passed already but it looks like I will have to go back to see the damn Zombie.

"Is your head still bothering you?" Alec says coming up behind me. I turn away from the large windows holding several screens with running programs. His strong arms wrap around me from behind as I nod my head.

It had gotten a little better but the pain was still there and slowly growing. I lean back into his arms and rest my head against his chest. He leans down and kisses my neck. "My men have reported movement on the eastern side of the City wall," Alec says softly.

I tense as I say "So you were right... Remi really did go for the weakest side. Was it just him?" Alec shakes his head as he says "They saw the man from before... Nox and his men. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say that Remi has teamed up with them."
