Maya is not your typical hacker. Ten years ago, her only living family was killed in cold blood. The killers make her take the fall but after ten years in prison, she's become stronger. Now, she hunts the very monsters that hunt others. She's untraceable until she runs into Alec, the Underworld's notorious leader who doesn't seem to be quite human. Things aren't as they seem though, as Maya is pulled into a twisted fate. Maya now has to run from the Underworld boss who wants her as his own and a mysterious hacker who seems to have it out for her. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Silent Hacker

I frown and pull the covers over my head when I feel the sunlight coming straight through the window and into my face. I Turn around and freeze when I feel someone next to me. I quickly open my eyes and find Leo sleeping soundly next to me. I kick him as hard as I can and watch with satisfaction when he hits the ground in a loud thud.

I lean over the side of the bed to find him looking up at me with a blank look. "Why are you in MY bed?" I ask with a growl. Leo sighs and says "Cult wants to speak with you today." I sit back when Leo sits up and fixes his shirt.

"Is it about the monsters and what not?" I ask with a frown. Leo shrugs and says "We'll find out when we get there." Suddenly my entire family is running through the open door with pots and pans in hand. They look like they're about to take on a mighty beast with their ferocious looks but the look is lost with the aprons and fuzzy slippers...
