Maya is not your typical hacker. Ten years ago, her only living family was killed in cold blood. The killers make her take the fall but after ten years in prison, she's become stronger. Now, she hunts the very monsters that hunt others. She's untraceable until she runs into Alec, the Underworld's notorious leader who doesn't seem to be quite human. Things aren't as they seem though, as Maya is pulled into a twisted fate. Maya now has to run from the Underworld boss who wants her as his own and a mysterious hacker who seems to have it out for her. What could possibly go wrong, right?

Silent Hacker

Remi suddenly grabs my legs and lifts me up. I lace my elbow in power and bring it down on his back. He growls and slams me on my back, nearly knocking the air out of me. I catch Alec shifting in on the outside of the dome with Chip.

I guess because we were no longer inside, he could find us. Alec roars and runs to us with Chip beside him but when he reaches the dome, he can't break through. Chip flies straight through the golden barrier and charges straight at us.

I lift my hands and block another blow from Remi and kick him up as hard as I can. Remi flies back as Chip tackles him midair from the side. Chip's large electrical teeth sink into Remi's arm as he cries out in pain.

Alec beats the side of the barrier and says "Maya! Drop the shield!" I ignore him as Chip quickly dodges Remi's punch. "Chip!" I call out to him and he quickly comes to my side as Remi holds his bloody arm with a vicious look on his face.
