I loved you, You changed me

Several days passed by just like that – Kate recording their shady deals, and sometimes stumbling across few things about herself and Susie. She was curious as to who exactly was this Mr. Rodrigues was. Apparently she will find about him later in her life. The same day –


'Ashton, they can't wait for her any longer. Her birthday is just around the corner. She'll turn 18 in two weeks. Mr. Rodrigues is furious.'


'She is not well, so she won't see me. I am trying but she is being a bitch.' This time even Ashton was annoyed. On the other side when Jennifer heard him call 'her' bitch, she was extremely pleased. She felt like dancing and singing. Ashton was finally getting annoyed of her! Her chance finally might come!


'I understand that you're trying very hard. That's the reason I'm supporting you. I know how big of a bitch Kate is!'


'Shut up! I told you never to say her name, during our telephonic conversations!'


'I'm sorry Ash, I completely forgot about that because of the bitch. I'm just concerned about you. She is giving you a hard time'


'Whatever. Make the arrangements for 5 days from now. I'll bring her to the Strangler's club. I'll tell you the timings later. Make arrangements.'


'Good.' Ashton then hung up the call. On the other side Kate was stupefied on hearing her name. She couldn't understand why she was the one they were planning on. Who in the world was Mr. Rodrigues? And then it means, she was the one who could create problems for Mr. Rodrigues' country?  What the hell?


Kate had asked Lyanna, her assistant to do a background check on her mom. Lyanna had passed on the message to Wang, the underworld Shi Gang's boss and Kate's right hand man. The conversation of her mom on the phone was replaying every time. Apart from that she could not find out who the Mr. Rodrigues was from the past, who wanted her. She was 21 now, even after 4 years she couldn't find any leads. And then suddenly her mom was speaking to a person about her on the phone. She couldn't help it but think back to all the conversations she had recorded between Jennifer and Ashton. Were they connected? Kate's eyes immediately went sharp. She thought back to how she was able to escape Ashton's viciousness.


In the evening Kate got a call from Ashton telling her about his plan, 5 days later. HE told her to clear her schedule for that since he wanted to take her somewhere. Kate's eyes immediately became sharp. She looked like a vicious beast ready to kill. She had a countdown of five days now. If she didn't do anything fast she'll end up where even she didn't know.
