Daily Struggle of an Author

Today is Sunday and yesterday was partly a disaster. I already wrote 2000+ words and about to rest. As I clicked save, I don't know what came to me but I clicked 'NO'. Well, the outcome was as clear as day, I lost all 2000+ words. AHH! Disaster. 


Instead of resting, I have to fish out everything from my mind while it was still fresh. I wrote the whole thing again and made some changes along the way. While writing, I saved from time to time, until I finished the whole thing. I was exhausted recalling, that I have to rest for a while before preparing to go to my mother's house.


The night with my Mom was wonderful, refreshing my spirit. Then when I went home all the ideas for my latest story, Champions of Worlds, slowly came to my mind. 


Another wondrous time happened. My mentor read my prologue and guided me. For now, I know what to do and found the direction of my story. Most of all this morning, I shared my plot to my eldest daughter. Well, the plot was said as a story as well. But the joy to see her face lit up while she eagerly listened gave me the enthusiasm to write.


I feel the excitement to write and read my story. 


Then when I opened Income in Inkstone, I felt a bit low to see my income with my first story for the month of April was way too low. Somehow, I shrugged off the negative thoughts away from my mind. Anyway, as long as my free readers enjoyed my story, that's a satisfaction for me.
