Tiring But Fruitful Monday

Yesterday was tiring in a way I have to fight bouts with cough and colds. My mind was foggy and my nose was stuffy. Somehow, I prevailed and finished a good amount of words but I stopped halfway since I was not sure which part of the story to put in my first chapter.

I asked some authors in my course with Professor White in discord for their opinions and in the end, I chose the best I think would suit the first chapter that can give me and the readers the most out of the story. The part the male lead and female will be separated when they were still young. Afterward, I set aside the rest of the story I wrote and proceeded to that part.

I've finished the whole chapter but then, I didn't find it attractive. Not so full of life compared to chapter 1 I made for Destined Gatekeeper. I want this story to be something heart-pumping and soul-searching. Not a simple story for enjoyment but a wholesome one. So, I rewrote some parts until I've finished another 1700+ words, but I was still not content. Thus, I changed it again.

Then, another problem came, the internet stopped and it didn't come back. I called the internet provider's hotline and asked about it and it was a technical problem on their side. One of their men came this morning and fixed the problem. I don't know what really happened but I'm glad I'm back online. I hurriedly write this while my mind is still fresh.

Back about my story, more ideas came to me while I gave some time to think about chapter 1. So I redid it again last night. I think I made five revisions but until now I'm still not satisfied. I want to release the synopsis, prologue and chapter 1 next week but I haven't covered the whole first arc. Frustrating, but I named this fruitful since my heart and mind were focused on making the best chapter 1 and story I desire to make.

With the accumulated experiences in my first two books, I'm so excited about this third one. I wish this to become one of the masterpieces I've ever made in my life.

My body is getting better now compared yesterday. The weather is still hot but that won't matter much. For me, it is another great day to write for my "Champions of Worlds."
