Our lady, star of the sea

It all started with el fiat de Maria

Yes to our Lord, His son you conceived

With the Immaculate Conception

You bore mercy on our land

You bore the head, Jesus Christ

And also the Church in its stand

You lived your mortal life

Offering yourself to others

You performed different miracles

Not just being Jesus' mother

Queen of heaven

Star of the sea

Cause of our Joy

Mother of mercy

Despite different names

Your kind heart shined through

Your selfless motherly love

That only grew and grew

Your simple obedience to God

Is how our salvation surged

You guided us, in spirit and in heart
