Harmony Of The Cosmos

As promised, we were all now training with each other. With Gillian and Ysabeau busy with the Council's matter to approve of the Pentacle Arks, we were all tasked to grow in strength. That includes fighting each other. There was no way I am going up against Baldwin, he might kill me instead of training me. This left Headmaster with no choice to pair me up with Z. He'd wanted to challenge me ever since he learned of my true origin. Not surprising. It has been known throughout the universe that the ones from the planet Valokia were a race like no other.

"Hm, show me the power of a Valkyrie," commanded Z as he threw out some Kunais. I blocked them with ease and smiled.

"No can do, unless you want to die," I said, drawing out my ancient relic. Z looked confused.

"I don't carry around any weapon, so this is kinda my first weapon," I explained as I conjured up Lord Atlantia. The shield felt light to hold but was able to bash away Z's Kunais with ease. Be it one or ten. But after while, things got bored.

"Hm... Kinda boring using just Kunais and a shield. How about I show you my other power?" My ears perked up upon hearing that suggestion.

"So, what else have you got up your sleeves?" I asked, placing the shield standing upright on the ground.

"Galaxian Magic," said Z, brimming with pride as his jet black eyes sparkled. A Lost Magic?! This was going to be spectacular to witness. And fight against. Ditching his Kunais, he stuck his arm out and opened his palm. I watched in awe as he grabbed hold of a bunch of star dust and smashed his hand into the ground. The floor beneath us shook and stopped. I scanned the area to see what ha happened. Had we moved? I was on a whim looking around as I took notice of the sky. It was as if someone had pulled a dark blue blanket on top of the bright sky from earlier and had poked holes in it for some light to pass through. I caught a glimpse of Z smiling as he gazed at the night sky, with the same passion as me.

"Pretty, isn't it?" asked Z, as he approached me. I nodded, eyes still fixated on the night sky.

"Welcome to the realm I dwell in. Its called Harmony Of The Cosmos," said Z, proudly. I was still breathless as he looked around.

"Even if we are from the stars, we can't help but admire our origins," commented Z. I nodded, still in a trance.

"Now then, star gazing aside, check your surrounding. Should be in full effect now. You can fly around with freedom," instructed Z. I was confused at first, then I caught hold of what he was saying. The grass underneath us was gone. What was left was the night sky all around us. As if we were floating in space. I pulled out my wings, and flew around for a bit.

"It's been such a long while since I did this!!" I squealed as I flew above Z.

"So I guess you are ready for combat?" I smiled as the elements within my grasp starting appearing on my fingertips. His hands were full of water and star dust, a ball of blue and galaxy-colored on each palm. That was a silent agreement on both sides as we lunged at each other. Within this realm, we were free to do whatever we want, without the limitation of an angry mob or a playful Raiyen coming towards us. Our fists met with tenacity as we continued on, the smile never leaving our faces.

"Windfall!" I yelled. The wind started to weigh heavily on Z, making him drop to his knees. I charged towards him and tried deal the ending blow. Yet, I was forced to a halt as he prepared a spell under his breath.

"Hail, the billions stars that gathered! Gaze upon its glory! I invoke thee, Aegis Of The Milky Way!" Within a fraction of a second, a huge spiral of glowing little lights appeared in front of Z, forcefully propelled me towards the opposite direction. I steadied myself using wings. He then grabbed hold of one end of the spiral and swung it. This made the spell unravel and extend, creating a huge, flowing whip of stars.

"A dynamic spell, huh? How many tricks you got up in your arsenal?" I asked, wiping the sweat above my forehead. My wings were starting to fade, I knew I couldn't keep them up forever.

"You're one to talk, Princess. You specialize in Amalgamation of Elements. Compared to me, you have a whole lot more within your stockpile," he replied, standing up albeit shakily. I smirked as I steadied myself once more.

"Well, it's only fair. A spell for a spell!" I shouted, concentrating most of my elements into the palms of my hand.

"And it's going to be hell," said Z, forming up his spell from earlier.

"Fire of the Salamander. Water of the Mermaid. Earth of the Elephant. Wind of the Eagle. Light of the Dove. Darkness of the Bat. These are the elements I govern! " I yelled, aiming the huge rainbow-colored ball in the vicinity of my opponent. He placed all his Elemental Energy into his shield, making it at a colossal size now. It was now covering Z from head to toe. Hopefully, it won't break.

"Stop thinking that!" he yelled, causing me to pause.

"What do you mean?"

"Give up your compassion for this moment and focus all your Elemental Energy into that attack., Don't worry about killing me. This is the only way to prove to yourself that you are strong. Don't hesitate just because I am your ally! Within this realm, we are enemies!" shouted Z, as he tried to convince me to use every ounce of my strength. Had I been displaying so much of my hesitance? I took a deep breath in and allowed all of my energy to flow through from my arms and into the giant ball of elements. The spell began to increase in both size and aura.

"Array of Elements!" Without a second thought, I launched the spell at the celestial mage, who met with the attack vehemently. All was fine until the shield started to fail.

"Fortify! Macrocosm Fortress!" howled Z, as he took out the blue Kunai of the ancient relic he possessed. He tried to push the ball back, but was taken off guard as the realm started to shatter. Cracks appeared around us. He looked at the spell, it was still growing, as if of feeding off from the ancient relic. I looked at Z with uncertainty. He was trying his best to move and contain the spell. If we allowed this gargantuan size of a spell out, the whole area will be annihilated, even if we started out in the mountains. Its shock wave will desolate anything within a close radius.

"I've got no choice but to use this. Mavislin Roydon of Valokia, you've got me this time,"

said Z as he snickered at me. I gave a face filled with turmoil while he held up his vacant hand.

"As I restore order back into this realm, I will let its walls to topple. Whatever I designate will be staying in this realm forever. This domain is regulated by my willpower. Now, it is time for you to go back to your slumber. Enclose and Nullify!" shouted Z. And with that, concludes our duel for the day. The spell that I used was now trapped in the other dimension, solely using Z's mental power. We had been in there for a few hours but Raiyen was beside us.

"How long have we been gone?" I asked, with Z laying flat on his back on the green carpet.

"About five minutes," said Raiyen. My eyes enlarged with disbelief. Z stuck his arm out with a thumbs-up.

"At least we weren't a year late!"

"How long have you been gone?" asked Raiyen, puzzled.

"About four hours," I muttered under my breath. He seemed impressed at Z's command of time and space. Something sparked in my mind as I saw Raiyen holding up Time Ripper.

"Raiyen!" I yelled, all of a sudden.

"What?! Don't yell without warning!" said Raiyen, eyes big, staring right at me. I grasped Raiyen's hand which held onto the ancient relic.

"Oi, Z! I know a way to get rid of the spell!" I explained, with a smile plastered on my face. Raiyen seemed confused. Z was perplexed at first, but had a vague idea on what I was about to do.

"Raiyen, activate Time Ripper," I commanded. He was still in a state of confusion as he mobilized the ancient relic.

"Which time and space should I deem the slash to be at?" asked Raiyen.

"Nothing," I replied.

"What?"

"Leave it as the Void. Z, open up the realm once more."

"Are you nuts?! If I let that out, everyone's gonna be annihilated!"

"Listen up! I haven't finished my instructions yet! Open the realm around the slash that Time Ripper has made. Include all of us inside it," I ordered.

"What are you going to do?" asked Z, worriedly.

"I will move the spell into the Void. If I can conjure up that mass of carnage, I can jolly well control it. I created that and will clean it up," I explained looking at the two. Z sighed and nodded as he conjured up the realm again.

"Cool background," commented Raiyen as we went back into the dimension. The spinning ball of elements were prominent within our sights.

"You made that?!" asked Raiyen, in awe.

"Yea. But what you are going to do is insane, girl!" said Z.

"And since when did I say I had sanity? Let's go!" I yelled as I went to the ball of death with my arms outstretched. I had been trying to control through telekinesis but failed, making the ball even larger. As my hand touched the spell, it started to burn with immense agony. But the burning was not from the mixture of elements, it was from the fact I was trying to contain the ball. It was trying to absorb more of my Elemental Energy and I was trying to draw energy from it. With another deep breath, scream and a piece of logic gone, I grabbed hold of the entire spell and tossed it into the Void that Raiyen had opened up. The realm closed quickly, with all of us left with our bums on the green flooring. My hands were still hurting.

"So, it's gone forever?" asked Raiyen. I shook my head with a playful smile.

"Nope. Mav only did that to save her energy," said Z, sighing.

"Explain?"

"She could had left the spell in my realm and it would have disappeared completely."

"But now its gone, so what's the fuss?"

"No fuss, but I think Z's seen through my plan," I noted, realizing that I had threatened the second strongest of all of us.

"You wanted to save the spell for another time, am I correct?" quizzed Z. I nodded, sadly.

"The Void is in between all timelines, so if I stuck my hand to take things shoved inside, it should surface. Using my willpower, that is," I explained, slowly. Without any warning, Z embraced me with his strong arms, stroking my hair using his Igor hands.

"You know you could've died, right," he warned.

"Yea, but I'm not dead," I said, smiling as I returned the hug.

"Don't ever do that to me ever again. That is an order from your second strongest," commanded Z while pulling away. Raiyen stood awkwardly beside us, grabbing my hand and away from Z.

"Yes, sir!" I saluted. I then turned towards Raiyen with a puzzled look.

"You jealous?" I asked, eyebrows raised.

"So what if I am?"

"Raiyen, I am over a thousand years old. Did you really think I've got the maturity to be thinking like that?" I asked.

"Well, I am still a teenager. I thought you were one as well." I was insulted.

"Oi, watch it, Timeboy! I am an adult!" I exclaimed with sass. Z erupted with laughter as I gave a bunch of gigantic, painful, head pats to Raiyen.

"Let's agree, at the very least, not to let Headmaster and the High Queen know about the incident earlier," said Z, placing his Igor hands onto the top of our heads. Raiyen and I laughed as he ruffled our hairs.
