Guilty

(Neo's POV)

When I got out of the shower and got dressed, I heard the front door open and close. I walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen to find Alexa, Sebastian, and Damon sitting around the island in the middle of the room.

"Did you do what I asked?" I asked while grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. "Yes we did." Alexa answered. I turned around and placed the bottle on the counter and asked them "What's your punishment?" They looked at me like I had two heads. I scoffed. "Don't give me that look. I know how you guys are. Before you guys went to the Dean you guys hurt them a little more. So what is your punishment?"

Damon sighed giving in and said "a week of providing our services to the Dean." I shook my head slightly and took another sip of my water. "How's Elektra?" Sebastian then asked. I tensed and gripped on to the island's counter a little bit and answered "She's fine now. Shaken up, but fine. She had a dislocated shoulder that I had to pop back into place and I got her cleaned up. She's sleeping right now."

I can't help but feel guilty. "This is all my fault." I say breaking the silence. "Hey this is nobody's fault but Angelica's. She's the bitch that doesn't know when to move on." Alexa replied. Her reply made me realize that they know what happened between me and Elektra. I could care less. I'm pretty sure everyone knew already. "If it's not my fault, then why do I feel guilty. She's in that room nearly broken because of what happened. That bitch is trying to ruin someone who is so important to me because of something that I started."

I felt like I wanted to cry at that moment. "Elektra is hurt because I could not control myself that night. Yes that night was amazing, but that still doesn't justify Elektra being hurt because of my choice. Then the fact that that slut is the one getting her attacked in the first place. I was the one that pushed Elektra to do that with me. I should be the one they are attacking not Elektra."

"I heard and saw every single thing that those son of bitches said and did to her. Everytime I heard her scream in pain a piece of me just broke. You saw how they looked when you went to get them. I just lost it. I wanted to kill them. I wanted to kill Angelica for being apart of that situation. I don't even know how I will face her because all I feel is anger and rage coursing through my body just thinking about it. I-I just don't know anymore."

"Right now the girl that I have cared about since pre-k is laying on her bed sleeping and in pain because of me being with that bitch and it hurts me so much. I feel guilty that I almost didn't get there in time. I feel guilty just thinking about what if I didn't get there in time. Would she even be breathing? I feel guilty that this all started because of me. You could say it's not my fault but why the fuck does it feel like it is?"

At this point my elbows are on the counter top of the island with my face in my hands. Tears started to form in my eyes and were threatening to fall. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me then another and then another. "It's going to be okay. Remember Elektra is a strong. She fought for her entire life and she'll keep fighting to get where she wants to be." Alexa said against my shoulder.

They all let go of me and I looked up at Alexa. "Do you know what she told me when we were in Russia after that little argument you guys had?" she asked. I shook my head no. "She said that the reason she kept on fighting for her life was because of you." she answered and I looked at her with a confused look on my face.

Then she continued " She said that she wanted to make sure she sees you again after you guys got seperated. So she made a promise to herself saying that she will see you again no matter what. So we get it.You feel guilty,but don't let it ruin you. She fought to be with you so it's only reasonable for you to fight to be with her. Now go check on her and make sure what I said sticks into that stupid head of yours."

I looked down at the ground and smiled to myself. 'She really did that for me'. I can feel my dragon getting all giddy inside. I sighed and gave Alexa a small nod before turning and walking to Elektra's room. I walk into her and see she is still sleeping. I go to her bed and sit down on her bed with my back against the headboard. She must have sensed my presence because she cracked her one eye open slightly and gave me a little smile before moving closer to me and laying her head on my thigh and going back to sleep.

I chuckled to myself and ran my hand softly against her head. 'You made a promise to fight so I'm going to make one myself. I promise that I will fight to help and try to protect you the best I can no matter what. And if I can't, I will make sure they get what they deserve for hurting you.' I said to myself.
