I WANT YOU TO RESIGN

As she hastened down the hallway, Yue Ling's thoughts wandered, Suddenly, she collided with a solid form, her body jolting from the impact. Disoriented, she stumbled backward, her eyes rising to meet the gaze of the person she had bumped into.

Time seemed to freeze as their eyes locked, shock and recognition etched on both faces. Yue Ling's mind raced, her thoughts careening back to the humiliating encounter at the airport, where she had inadvertently humiliated a stranger. The same stranger now stood before her, his features chiseled and unyielding.

Mo Shira's voice, cold and unforgiving, shattered the silence. "Why aren't you watching where you're going?" he demanded, his words dripping with disdain.

Yue Ling's apology faltered on her lips as she beheld the man she had so brazenly embarrassed. Her body stiffened, her heart pounding in her chest. Mo Shira's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing through her.

The airport incident came flooding back, and Yue Ling's face burned with shame. She had never expected to encounter him again, let alone as her boss. Mo Shira's expression darkened, his anger palpable. "What are you doing here?" he thundered, his words sending a shiver down her spine.

Security guards appeared, responding to Mo Shira's summons. "Throw her out of here, and don't allow her to return!" he barked, his anger unrelenting. The guards hastened to comply, dragging Yue Ling away as she struggled to find her voice, her world spinning in chaos.

"STOP"

Zhao Lifei's authoritative voice cut through the tension, halting the security guards' grip on Yue Ling. "How dare you touch my child like this? Do you want to get fired?" she admonished, her eyes flashing with maternal protectiveness.

The guards promptly released Yue Ling, retreating with apologetic nods. Mo Shira's eyes widened in disbelief as his mother swept past him, enveloping Yue Ling in a warm embrace. "My daughter?" he thought, his mind reeling with confusion and anger.

Zhao Lifei ushered Yue Ling into Mo Shira's office, her grip firm but gentle. Mo Shira trailed behind, his frustration simmering. He had been thwarted in his attempt to punish Yue Ling for her past transgression, and his mother's unexpected intervention had left him off balance.

As they entered the office, Zhao Lifei turned to face her son, her expression stern. "Mo Shira, I didn't raise you to treat others with such disrespect. Apologize to Yue Ling at once." Her voice brokered no argument, leaving Mo Shira with little choice but to comply.

Mo Shira's eyes rolled in exasperation as his mother introduced Yue Ling as his new secretary. He couldn't believe his mother had intervened on her behalf, and now he was stuck with the same woman who had embarrassed him at the airport.

"Hi," he grunted, his tone curt, as he gazed at Yue Ling with a mixture of annoyance and disbelief.

Yue Ling smiled brightly, seemingly unfazed by his cold demeanor. "Hello, sir," she replied, her voice cheerful.

Zhao Lifei's expression turned stern, her eyes locking onto her son's. "I want you both to work harmoniously, no conflicts. Mo Shira, please don't misjudge Yue Ling, she's a kind and capable person. Take good care of her, understood?"

With that, she rose from her seat, her presence commanding. "I'll leave you both to discuss your work arrangements. No more... incidents, Mo Shira." Her gaze lingered on her son before she exited the office, leaving the unlikely pair to navigate their working relationship.

Mo Shira's face turned dark with anger once they were alone in his office. "Get up!" he barked at Yue Ling, who stood up abruptly, as if startled.

He slammed his hand on the desk and pulled out a file, thrusting it towards her. "Sign this!" he demanded.

Yue Ling's face paled as she saw the resignation papers, her eyes flashing with anger. "You think I'll resign? I haven't even started working properly!" she exclaimed.

Mo Shira sneered. "You didn't earn this position, you manipulated my grandpa and mother to get it. You tried to seduce me at the airport, and now you're trying to get close to me again!"

Yue Ling slammed her hand on the desk, her finger pointing at Mo Shira. "Don't dare talk to me like that! I'm not some girl who'd try to sleep with anyone, especially not someone like you who'd sleep with anything! And I prefer your assistant to you, at least he's more reserved!"

With that, she stormed out of the office, slamming the door shut behind her.

Mo Shira was made speechless by all what she said, his face tighten with anger and it's as if blood wants to rush out from his body,

Here's a rewritten version:

Mo Shira's opposition to Yue Ling's employment stemmed from his belief that she lacked the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the business world. He feared her incompetence would lead to mistakes that would tarnish his company's reputation.

But Yue Ling's defiant outburst caught him off guard, and her preference for Hu Wuting over him ignited a fierce anger within. No one had ever dared speak to him with such disrespect and lived to tell the tale. The memory of their airport encounter resurfaced, fueling his ire.

His eyes blazed with fury as he snarled, "You refuse to resign? Fine! I'll make sure you're forced to leave this company. You'll bear the full weight of my wrath, and we'll see how long you last!"

A/N: Yue Ling really is in a lot of trouble now, offending her boss and even shouted at him, I just pray you will be able to survive at the Mo company ???
