MO SHIRA'S DOINGS

Mo Shira relentlessly made life at the office a living hell for Yue Ling, piling on an excessive workload, demanding perfection, and assigning menial tasks usually reserved for junior staff. He believed she only got the job through favoritism, unaware of her impressive MBA in business and the determination that drove her.

Despite his best efforts to break her, Yue Ling persevered, tackling every challenge with a resolute smile. She often sacrificed her personal time, even sleeping in the office to meet the unrealistic deadlines he set. Mo Shira remained oblivious to her sacrifices, but her strength and determination only grew stronger in the face of adversity.

Yue Ling's unwavering resilience was a testament to her unshakeable spirit, and her refusal to let Mo Shira's cruelty defeat her was a silent defiance that only fueled her determination to keep her job and prove her worth.

*THREE MONTHS LATER*

The harassment and bullying continued unabated for three months, with Mo Shira publicly berating Yue Ling every day, making her a constant target of humiliation. The office staff recognized the CEO's vendetta against his secretary, and the work environment grew increasingly tense.

Yue Ling's health suffered due to the relentless stress, and one rainy night, she was forced to walk home after someone vandalized her car tires. She fell ill with a cold and high fever, requiring three and a half days off work.

But even her illness didn't spare her from Mo Shira's cruelty. He showed up at her residence on the fourth day, demanding she return to work immediately. His relentless pursuit of making her suffer knew no bounds, even requiring her to work on Sundays. Yue Ling's ordeal seemed unending, trapped in a living nightmare under Mo Shira's tyranny.

_________________

Yue Ling's sole respite from her grueling work schedule was her Sunday outings with Mo Lin, followed by dinner at the Mo mansion, as per her grandfather's wishes. However, once Mo Shira discovered this, he became even more vindictive, forcing her to work on Sundays as well.

In his twisted mind, he believed he was punishing her, but in reality, he was also torturing himself. He would stay in the office late into the night, monitoring her every move, ensuring she completed her tasks. This obsession with tormenting Yue Ling consumed him, causing him to neglect his own well-being.

As the Sundays passed, Mo Shira's fixation on Yue Ling's work only intensified, driving him to spend more time in the office, watching her every move. He failed to recognize the toll this was taking on his own mental and physical health, blinded by his all-consuming desire for revenge.

Mo Shira's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with schemes to finally break Yue Ling's resolve. "Hu Wuting, I've tried everything, but she refuses to quit," he said, his tone laced with frustration.

Hu Wuting entered the office, sensing the tension. "Yes, boss?"

Mo Shira's gaze intensified. "After all we've done, she still won't budge. What's her secret, Hu Wuting?"

Hu Wuting hesitated, choosing his words carefully. "Sir, Yue Ling is...strong. And I admire her courage." The room's temperature seemed to plummet, and Hu Wuting quickly rephrased his statement. "I mean, those things don't affect her, sir."

Mo Shira's eyes gleamed with determination. "I know exactly what to do. This time, I'll make sure she's affected." He began altering documents on his desk, a sinister smile spreading across his face. "This will do the trick. If she can't deliver, I'll make sure she resigns." His eyes gleamed with triumph, confident in his latest plan to break Yue Ling's spirit.
