As soon as Mo Shira guided Yue Ling into his office, he swept her into his arms, pulling her onto his lap. Yue Ling's eyes flashed with surprise and annoyance. "What's the meaning of this, Mo Shira? We're out of the meeting room now, so why are you still putting on this act?" she protested, trying to wriggle free from his grasp. But Mo Shira's hold only tightened, his smile growing wider as he gazed into her face.
Yue Ling's struggles intensified, her cheeks flushing with frustration and embarrassment. "Let me go, Mo Shira! This isn't funny anymore!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with irritation. But Mo Shira seemed to be savoring the moment, his eyes drinking in the sight of her struggles. The more she squirmed, the more entranced he became.
Finally, exhausted and defeated, Yue Ling slumped against him, her breathing rapid and her eyes flashing with resentment. Mo Shira's smile softened, his gaze turning tender. "Yue Ling, I have something important to tell you," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "I've fallen in love with you."
Yue Ling's laughter was instantaneous, her eyes sparkling with mirth. "Ha ha ha, oh, Mo Shira, you're such a jokester! Your acting skills are top-notch, I can't compete!" she teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Mo Shira's face darkened, his eyes clouding with hurt and anger. But as he gazed at Yue Ling's radiant face, her laughter and joy infectious, his irritation melted away. "You look breathtakingly beautiful when you laugh, Yue Ling," he murmured, his voice filled with sincerity.
Yue Ling's laughter faltered, her eyes locking onto Mo Shira's, a flicker of confusion and curiosity dancing in their depths. For a moment, they simply stared at each other, the tension between them palpable and electric.
Here's a rewritten version with a more passionate and detailed tone:
Yue Ling's voice was laced with exasperation. "CEO Mo, please, let me go! Stop saying these things. This isn't funny anymore!" Mo Shira's grip relaxed, and Yue Ling quickly stood up, trying to leave, but Mo Shira's hand closed around her wrist, holding her in place. He rose from his seat, his eyes locking onto hers, but Yue Ling avoided his gaze. With a gentle touch, he raised her chin, forcing her to meet his eyes. "Do you think I'm joking?" he asked, his smile radiant and captivating.
As he spoke, he brushed strands of hair behind her ear, his fingertips grazing her skin. Yue Ling's heart raced, her face flushing crimson. She couldn't look away, entranced by the intensity in his eyes. Mo Shira's smile broadened, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Xiao Ling, I know I've wronged you, hurt you. I was cruel, and you have every right to hate me. But I'm truly sorry. I promise to change, to be better for you. I'll never let you cry again."
His words were laced with sincerity, his gaze pleading for forgiveness. Yue Ling's resolve weakened, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt herself getting lost in his eyes, her anger and resentment melting away. Mo Shira's grip on her wrist relaxed, but he didn't let go, his hand lingering on her skin like a promise. Yue Ling's breath caught, her voice barely above a whisper. "Mo Shira, let go..." But her words lacked conviction, her eyes betraying her true feelings.
"I never thought the day would come when I'd surrender to love's flame. I considered myself a god, above the fragility of human emotions. My heart was a cold, dark chamber, devoid of feeling. But then, you illuminated my existence, Ling. Your presence awakened my dormant heart, breathing life into its barren landscape. You kindled a fire that melted the ice that encased my soul, and I discovered emotions I never knew I possessed. Xiao Ling, you are the sunshine that brightened my eternal night, and I... "
Yue Ling's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing through Mo Shira's sincerity. She couldn't let him utter those three words, didn't want to hear his empty apologies. With a forceful push, she sent him stumbling back, her words spilling out like venom.
"Look, Mr. Mo, now you know I'm not a gold digger, you want me only because I'm from an influential family. You apologize after what you did yesterday, when i nearly lost my honor because of you? You expect me to forgive you easily? I'm sorry, CEO Mo, but that's not how it works!"
Mo Shira's eyes widened, his face pale, as if her words had struck a chord. He didn't expect her to push him away so suddenly, or to speak with such venom. Yue Ling's words cut deep, especially the last sentence, which seemed to pierce his heart.
"Xiao Ling, please..." he whispered, his voice laced with pain. "Don't say such things."
Yue Ling's laughter was cold, her eyes flashing with anger. "Hey, CEO Mo, you're not my family, stop calling me that! Only those close to me can address me like that. We're just boss and secretary, nothing more."
She turned to leave, but Mo Shira wouldn't let go. He grabbed her hands, pulling her back, his eyes burning with determination.
"Xiao Ling, look at me! I'm serious, I swear on my mother's grave. I've loved you since the airport, but I didn't know how to express it. I stressed you with work, using monitoring as an excuse to be near you. I promise, it's not just because I found out about you !"
Yue Ling's face twisted in disgust, her voice rising to a shout. "You're crossing your limits, CEO Mo! Why should I trust you, an outsider, when my own family betrayed me? No one on this earth can make me believe your lies!"
Mo Shira's control snapped, his eyes blazing with anger. He pinned her against the table, his lips crashing down on hers in a fierce, rough kiss. Yue Ling's tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, her body trembling with rage and hurt. As suddenly as it began, the kiss ended, Mo Shira's eyes blazing with a mix of anger and passion.
his face turning glacial, his eyes flashing with a warning. "Xiao Ling, I'll do anything to win you over, but don't dare call me an outsider or speak to me like that again. otherwise I'll show you the true meaning of being an outsider, and you won't like it. You know I'm not a man to be trifled with. I've been gentle with you today, but don't think I've forgotten my true nature."
Yue Ling's eyes widened, fear creeping into her heart. She knew the rumors about Mo Shira's ruthless business tactics and his infamous temper. She had seen glimpses of it earlier, but today he had been uncharacteristically calm and even smiled at her. Now, she had unwittingly unleashed the beast within him.
"I'm...really sorry, CEO Mo," she stuttered, trying to appease him. "I won't speak to you like that again. I'll leave now."
Yue Ling's heart raced as she slowly approached the door, hoping to escape without further provocation. But Mo Shira's voice cut through the air, his words dripping with sarcasm. "Do you really enjoy my kisses so much that you crave more?"
Yue Ling's eyes widened, understanding the implicit threat. She knew she couldn't handle another intense encounter. With a mix of fear and obedience, she returned to him, her apology barely audible. "I'm sorry..."
Mo Shira's anger faltered, his expression softening as he beheld her terrified face. He hadn't intended to frighten her so deeply. Yet, her stubbornness and hurtful words had pushed him to the edge. He struggled to contain his temper, a trait he knew he needed to master. But Yue Ling's resistance only strengthened his resolve. He would stop at nothing to make her his, even if it meant resorting to extreme measures like kidnapping. His first love would not escape him.
Mo Shira's eyes blazed with determination as he grasped Yue Ling's hands, his lips brushing against her skin in a gentle yet possessive kiss. "Xiao Ling, I know you resist me, but I won't relent. I've claimed you as mine, and I'll stop at nothing to make you mine. Is that clear?"
Yue Ling's protests were met with a firm yet gentle grip, her words trailing off as Mo Shira's eyes seemed to bore into her soul "No..no..I mean yes"
"Good girl," he whispered, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "Now, remember, I'll come for you later. Don't think of escaping and leaving your house, or I'll make you mine, no matter the cost. You want your freedom? Then you better listen to me."
His lips left a warm, lingering kiss on her forehead before he released her, his smile triumphant as she hastened away. Mo Shira's eyes gleamed with a fierce light, his thoughts consumed by the need to claim Yue Ling.
He can still remember what his sister told him on the phone - his grandfather had agreed to let Mo Jihnu marry Yue Ling. Unthinkable! He couldn't let his brother take away the one person he loved. Mo Shira knew his tactics were unorthodox, but he was willing to do whatever it took to make Yue Ling his.
As he sat down, a smile still playing on his lips, he wouldn't allow her chose his brother because he knows Mo Jihnu only likes her but doesn't love her like he does....
