If You Don't Mind, May I Know What Your Name Is?*

Ni Yuexi was so engrossed by the chat messages that kept popping up on the screen of DeChat, a popular social media networking site. Her eyes glued to what her online friend was typing on the chat box, one hand was carrying a cup of coffee, while the other held the phone she was looking at.

Outside the front entrance to glass skyscraper of forty-three floors was a parked luxury car. The driver got out to open the backseat door for a strikingly good-looking man with a crisp navy-blue suit and tie that molded his muscular build.

"Good morning Chairman Zheng!"

The expensively dressed man was greeted by men in corporate suits who stood by the door and nodded back while making his way inside with his entourage of men in dark suits. The interior was made from stainless glass, everywhere sparkled from the lighting to the gleaming tiles on the floor. Men and women in corporate black with customary name tag that was suspended by an orange strap went on with their business, moving from one corner of the building to the other.

When the employees of Ziaomi saw that it was their company's chairman that was walking towards them, they ceased chatting to greet the chairman of the company.

"Chairman Zheng."

One of the bodyguards that came with him saw that they were about to run into an employee that wasn't paying attention to what was going on around her.

"It's okay, don't do a thing."

The man fell back on hearing the cool tone of the chairman's order for him not to alert the woman that was walking in their direction. Zheng Shanyu was walking in front while his men followed behind, his eyes continued to follow the sway of the female employee that was getting really close to them.

"BAM!"

Ni Yuexi felt her body hit something, the coffee in her hand toppled over and spilled on the suit of the man that she ran into, forming a dark stain.

"Ch..chairman Zh...heng."

The phone fell from her nervous fingers as she saw who it was that she had the misfortune to run into, the newly appointed Chairman of Ziaomi, Zheng Shanyu!

"Oh..my...god! I... I am so sorry!"

Ni Yuexi dropped to her knees not knowing how else to make the company not to fire her for ruining his suit. Zheng Shanyu coolly watched as his employee was stuttering apologetically, not making any move to clear the air. When she saw that he wasn't saying anything, Ni Yuexi took it to mean that he was very angry and wasn't going to leave until he received payment for the damage she had caused.

"Chairman Zheng...I promise to...buy you the exact same suit."

Ni Yuexi steadfastly looked at the face of Zheng Shanyu as she pleaded with him to take her up on the offer to buy him a new one. The chairman of Ziaomi chuckled at the suggestion, wondering how a low-grade employee could afford to buy the brand that he was accustomed to wearing.

"Let's say you work for the company for a maximum of thirty years before you are given the notice to retire and you didn't spend a single cent of the money. Even with that alone, there is no way you can buy a new suit for me."

The thought formed in the mind of Zheng Shanyu, but he couldn't bring himself to say it out loud. It was as if his mouth had a padlock attached. He ended up saying, "If you don't mind, may I know what your name is?"

Looking dazed, Ni Yuexi stared at the man from where she was, "Is he seriously asking for me name?"

Zheng Shanyu saw she wasn't saying anything back and bent to get a look at her name tag.

"Ni Yuexi?"

"Hehn?!"

"See you around."

The Chairman of Ziaomi resumed his walk towards his office on the forty-third floor along with his entourage, leaving a totally baffled Ni Yuexi on the floor with a coffee stain and broken phone screen.
